It's more about tempering expectations and that Deion is already a success, Deionized needs to go a little easier on the o line, not dismiss a bowl invite, etc.

Even if you lead with your shoulder, if your face mask or helmet makes any contact with a defenseless receiver helmet, they throwing the flag.
His problem was he launched into a defenseless receiver. If he just would have wrapped up, they would not have thrown the flag
Yesterday Colorado got a commitment from JUCO OT Isaiah Walker
He would be considered a project and is not the big name you are looking for. I wouldn’t be to disappointed because often, recruits like him do become very good players or solid players.

@Amajorfucup you were prophetic about Jason CoonLock. He is milking the Colorado losses and throwing extra coon sauce in his takes. Dude got two hour plus shows on multiple days with talk only about Coach Prime smh

It basically what I have been harping on since the beginning of the season. The real problem is their defense. Out of 130 teams, Colorado is ranked 129th defensively.plenty missed opportunities during these 8 games, even in the wins

They are damn near dead last with defending the pass. If their defense was just marginally better they probably have 1 or two more wins.
Offense has shown despite their issues, they can score enough pts. The defense just puts them in bad situations where they damn near have to score on every possession
The rule was made to stop players from making HITS to the head area and injuring the offensive player, some of these refs are going against the purpose of the rule and making calls just because there was CONTACT to the helmet. We see the same thing with roughing the passer calls, some of these refs are throwing the flag because a defenders hand/fingers made contact with the QB's helmet/face mask
I like how aggressive Shilo is and he makes that defense so much better. However, he doesn't always wrap up by going after big hits. It's a gamble bc at times his plays turn into turnovers and momentum builders. If he can clock in a 4.4 or 4.3 40 time, draft him within first 3 rds.

I'm still a fan and wish the best for Coach Prime as a black coach who is hopefully creating opportunities for Black Coaches in Division 1 College Football. That said, I'm getting more suspicious of his motives. Both of the Coordinators coach his sons' positions. He has a pass heavy offense despite having viable Running Backs and it hurting the team. Shedeur has made glaring mistakes of holding the ball too long and taking sacks but he has never criticized either of his sons publicly. That said, he criticized the Offensive line and multiple individual players.
The locker room theft was very unfortunate. On one hand I feel like college locker rooms should be secure. Players should feel comfortable leaving personal items like wallets, glasses, and phones in the locker room without concern. On the other hand,a college locker room is not appropriate place to leave "thousands of dollars" in cash and expensive jewelry. It is irresponsible to store bring these items and store them in a college locker room.
I hate to sound like an old CAC, but IMO its a bad idea to for these players to be all blinged out like they have been. Early in the season Prime preached about the players playing to get their families out the hood. They had a segment on Jimmy Horn Jr who has 5 siblings and his Father is in prison. He was playing to take care of his family financially. Now he and multiple teammates have mouths full of Gold, thick Cubans, and Diamonds while losing 4 out of their past 5 games. As long as Coach Prime has been in the league, financial responsibility should be a key lesson for him to be providing to his players. 78% of NFL players file for Bankruptcy within 2 years of retirement. Both Warren Saap and Terrell Owens have went broke and filed for Bankruptcy. Terrell owens was on TV crying real tears over being broke. Deon Jr, Shedeur, and Shilo will never have financial problems because they have a rich Father. These other players don't have that. The money they are making now might be the most they ever make. Watching them squander it on chains and grills without correcting them is flat out irresesponsible. He kicked a player out of practice for wearing white socks. He should add jewelry to the dress code list.

Generally, if you wrap up they have been letting it slide more this year. If you launch with just your shoulder they will call it 99% of the time.
I don’t have a problem with the hit from Sanders but I understand why they called it based on the rules
The hand to the face mask is a new rule. I have seen them throw the flag every single time. They have been hella strict with that rule
I think so, personally, that would not be something I would say to the media. At the end of the day, he selected all of them. Offensive line is generally something you develop
Again the rule was intended to protect the offensive player from unnecessary head injuries, if Shilo had launched that same way but not made any contact with that players helmet the ref wouldn't have thrown the flag
I wasn't necessarily talking about this year when I mentioned the roughing the passer, I was talking about when the rule came out and you were seeing players swipe for the ball and there would hand would make contact with the QB's helmet, the contact would be nowhere near enough to injure the QB but because of the rule some refs were throwing the flag
