Prime had been great for JSU, but hasn't beaten anyone he's not supposed to beat. Not sure how he'd do outside the SWAC.

Coach Prime only makes 300k as HC and that’s what some quality control assistants make at most Power 5 schools. Him being back in his home state at South Florida which plays in a crappy conference , get him and coaching staff money dominate and make a move for the SEC.
Jackson state pays prime way more than that

Did you read the article?
Yes and it’s peanuts compared to what he could be making at a Power 5 school. Plus he donated $150k of his salary to renovations to the football facilities. The man knows his worth and I’m all for helping young men but college football is a business and he deserves his value.

If I’m the swac, if the head of the HBCU committee

I’m doing what I can to keep this brother among us…

“the energy he’s placed around our community can not get redirected elsewhere”

that would be my opening message that’s followed by

we been looking for something
we went to the White House, we talked to them, we talked to her, when went there, we went here but it seems like Jackson State has found the one….

One would think that ex-Colorado player Eric Bienemy would be a prime(no pum intended) HC target for them.
Facts. Super Bowl chip on his resume. KC must be paying that good money to keep him because any team would’ve scooped him up by now.

Personally, I don't see Prime being as successful as he's been anywhere else other than Jackson.

Success w/ wins, recruiting, empowering, making monumental changes to the college football landscape, how HBCUs are seen across the country for young Black people into sports or not.

Hope dude stays.
Impact wise he probably won’t do more than what he did at JSU and that’s simply because HBCU’s have nowhere to go but up. I just hope they can maintain after he leaves, but his level of recruiting will be sustained so bringing wins to any school should continue.

Bro you seem like you wanna have the last word and I’m not in the mode to play a game of semantics with you. But if you call $124k in performance incentives ( which aren’t guaranteed)to his salary of 300k which he donated half his salary back to the school “way more money” then that’s your myopic view.

You short changing the man on his incentives, which, including his ticket sales percentage, add up to more than his base pay. More than double I think should count as "they pay him way more than that".

I didn't say they pay him like Saban
I didn't say that they are guaranteed (he hit all the benchmarks, and therefore got paid that, ergo they pay/paid him)
I didn't say what he chose to do after he got the money
I said they pay him way more than that.
Jackass.

Purposely obtuse or not great at math and English.

You make the call lol

I don't know much about Cadillac the coach, I do know he was a heck of a running back at Auburn.

Once He got the interim gig, the players

he don’t have seat time for as coaching to care about the politics, of being the head coaching
he know football, ya know the line up and compete part

Just like the true bitch you are I’ll let you have the last word, not gonna argue with someone who obviously doesn’t know much about the business of college football. Tell me the last time Jackson State had a sold out football home game? Last year against Alcorn State. Which Deion only gets 10 percent of only at home games but the man brings in more revenue for the entire SWAC because people come out to see him and his team. Only to a jackass like you consider “way more money”. Deion sees none of the ticket revenue when they sellout at Alabama State or any away game. This is all public information jackass because he’s a state employee.
If Deion leaves early, he’ll have to pay 50% of his remaining salary.

• Earns $25,000 for each win over an FBS team

• $10,000 for a SWAC division title

• $30,000 for a conference championship
Bonuses and incentives don’t even come close to his base salary of $300k but to a dumbass like you that’s “way more more”. Even Deion knows he has proven himself and done with the entire conference and school eating off him. That’s why he’s willing to sit down and listen to offers from other schools. Smart business man to everyone except your dumbass who realizes his true worth and is not content on staying in a situation where he’s not getting his true worth. But to you that’s “way more”.

Boy I'll slap the shit out of you lol

Okay secretary of fucking treasury

How much did he make last year

Is selling out the games a condition of his ticket sales incentive?

If we were talking your hoe ass salary and the difference was 300k to 600k, the latter is way more than the former

I know I touched more bread than you before I turned 30 my nigga and I have no idea who tf you are, please relax yourself

And again I'll slap the shit outta your accounting error faceass

After nearly a decade on NBCSN the Bayou Classic got moved back to NBC this past weekend.

that can only be credited to Deion Sanders' effect on HBCU football.
Really, damn that crazy

something else I took away from the interview(a couple post above)

Deion said they classics need to stop going to cities that don’t give a darn about them either school.

I was like oh shit…. He be talk but he talking now

Then I thought about the money the city makes off Southern and Gambling for that weekend….

Well, here's an ugly truth about Bayou Classic that you and I already know, many restaurants in the French Quarter will close that weekend (they also do this for Essence) and unfortunately, there was a shooting on Bourbon that racist cacs are already attributing to the Bayou Classic.

Maybe it's time to go back to Southern and Grambling playing a home and home at Robinson and Mumford.

yep I agree…. Won’t be the same but in the long there’s potential to control more

Like I said in one of those other post, If I’m swac or the president of the HBCU board

Coach Prime gonna need to keep it real with me as to why he’s turning down my Bobby Bonilla type of partnership…
