Deion Sanders offered the Colorado job- Official Colorado season thread

Nobody can out-recruit Coach Sanders. ( especially with parents)

The amount of nationally televised games only helps

And entering the rankings adds another positive.

The NFL pedigree of the staff

If they win the conference and make the 12-team playoff, it is a wrap.

Not to mention the chance to play as a freshman.

Seaton has shown that dogs can be featured.
Currently, saying no one can out recruit sanders is a false narrative. Last season Colorado finished 95th in recruiting and is currently 79th. To be elite, you got to stack talent.

We are about 3 weeks away from signing day and this class won’t be a top class.

When we talk about competing for titles and winning playoff games, recruiting is the next step the buff will need to take to be competitive.

Bro Colorado played 3 freshman heavily…

seaton at LT
Cleveland at Center
Miller at wideout

If Welch didn’t get hurt weeks back, he’d likely played more of late…

That’s 4 true freshman and Cleveland was a walk on… (and the team assistant pastor )

Just saying we can’t let some folks displeasures for certain things persuade us to feeling one way.

Say if Colorado land 20 freshman this year and 6 are plug and play types… WTF is the problem.

Folks want Prime to go do all of these in house visits and whatnots.

The moment folks hear coach Deion is in town, everyone from the pastor, to the drunk uncle will be at the house. They gonna have a damn bbq and fish fry. Fuck that shit, I’m send the position coach to recruit, then get the player and his handlers to Boulder. I don’t need to see where you’ll at, I need y’all to see where I’m at.

Now with all of that being said, who’s to say Deion don’t hit the road secretly, to avoid those potlucks gatherings
The problem they’ll run into is when they go up against a top-10 team, they’ll likely lose by 3 or 4 touchdowns, not because of poor coaching, but because of a talent gap. Against those teams, the difference in talent would be obvious.

This is why recruiting is so important, they make recruits feel wanted. If the coaching staff isn’t out there making in-home visits and hitting the road for recruiting, then an 8-4 or 10-3 season is likely the best they’ll ever achieve.

The issue is, we haven’t seen Coach Prime or his staff on the road. We’ve had elite talent showing real interest in Colorado, but while other schools were flying their entire staff down and keeping in constant contact, making these recruits feel like a priority, the buffs where nowhere to be seen. That personal touch matters, and without it, top talent will keep slipping away.

Jeremiah Smith have real interest in Colorado but they failed to visit or keep in contact with him

So first Prime didn't kno shit and you can't build a team using the portal.

Now they are winning and the reporter says Prime copied and is using the Indiana's Coaches methods

Dawg, with all due respect you been yelling defense issues…

Like it had to come and bite y’all at one point

Not that I wanted it to…

I want a dream matchup Colorado vs Miami

I call it like I see it, bro. Miami has been playing with fire and I expected it at some point... and to be honest, I would love to see Shedeur vs Cam...the fans deserve it and it's still possible. Neither team can lose going forward...I think the Colorado wideouts would eat our secondary up and Wester would have a field day...we can't cover our ass with a blanket lol

Bro we ain’t the only ones

Freshman wideout coming to boulder, but Deion don’t recruit

Go after highschool kids who can play now, mix that in with portal kids who’s been in school for two years. That way you not babysitting a complete class of freshman

how much of an impact has Sapp had on the team in your opinion?

I think he's a tremendous impact on that DLine. If you watch the Well Off youtube videos from practice, they run a tight ship over there and he's just as intense as a coach as he was a player. He demands excellence and hard work. Pretty much like the entire staff but he's more adamant about it.

Man it’s hard to say. This team is completely different than last year. These cats seem to have that attitude. So they don’t need coaching for being a dawg or having a dawg like attitude. The players last year need that, as a whole. So I’m not disrespecting or discrediting Sapp.
I know they players love talking to him. It’s sapp what else can be said.

What I can say this line have a ton of knowledge being directed towards them.
You have D Lew a former nfl player, coaching the DT, coach Dancy a former head coach at a HBCU coaching the ends and Sapp a former nfl player assisting both… that’s some pressure.

The situation so fiya, words is Bear Alexander wants to be part of squad. He left Georgia last year and went to USC but ain’t playing. He asked for a redshirt a couple weeks ago. He’s a big body, was the top DT in the portal last year.
Now folks saying he don’t like to work, so idk if Colorado would entertain the idea. They will have lower ranked players, who willing to put in the work. Those players are the ones who want it.

I know if they could have this same team next, it would be rough. They way Nebraska front looked over the last two years. I think the way Chip Kelly had UCLA looking last year, Is what we’d see.
