Another lesson learned...no spring game next year.
Aint no point in getting mad, but i do feel Deion when he says let him carry that cross. Like in all the bluster and positivity, no good parent wants to see their child going through this and quite frankly, I think Coach feels guilty. Let's not get it twisted, they are millionaires and they will be good, but they are human too and it's embarrassing.
When you really step back and look at it, not getting drafted early might’ve been the best thing for Shedeur. He wasn’t depending on that first contract like a lot of other players. Financially, he’s already in a good place.
Now he has a real chance to land with a team that’s stable, got some real talent around him, and isn’t at the bottom of the league. In the long run, that could be way better for his career and his development as a quarterback.

I think people hate arrogance in young people but especially young black people. I think shaduer comes off as entitled and deion promoted him too hard.. particularly the im blocking certain teams from drafting him thing.. deion forgot football ownership and management is a true good old boys club.

Many schools have basically eliminated the spring game. Many don’t even scrimmage. Do you think they should do something like a 7 on 7 type set up?
This is about Shedeur. And Deion. But also about future players coming into the league. These owners are not gonna adjust to a world where players have more power and influence. This is a shot across the bow for players with super involved parents/guardians like Nico Iamaleava. This is for players who think they're gonna just skip the combine without a good reason (injury, etc). This is for kids and parents who think they only have to interview with the teams they want to be drafted by. And the message was clear as day when Milroe was taken before Shedeur. Milroe is an explosive athlete but leaves a lot to be desired as a passer (thus far). These owners are saying WE DON'T NEED YOU. We'll take lesser prospects (Gabriel) or projects (Milroe) before we draft you. Gonna be so interesting to see how this plays out.

I'd say the same thing. But the difference is, Travis played the game when it came down to it. Even though he didn't do on-field workouts at the combine, he was there interacting with the media and NFL personnel, as well as throwing passes to prospects.
