I don't see why don't dudes use protection or get a vasectomy until they're ready for an actual family.

I bet child support is a big reason a lot of these dudes go broke.

To be fair I think at least half the kids is with his 1st wife. Then maybe with the fame he started getting some on the side. Supposedly, Telli was one of the side chicks and he left the wife for her and had another kid. Either way he clearly ain’t protecting himself at all times in or outside the ring :dunno:

Larry going in on Mark

Damn he going at Lennox Lewis too lol

LARRY HOLMES WEIGHS IN ON WILDER VS FURY 2; HEAVYWEIGHT GREATNESS & HIS FRIEND MUHAMMAD ALI

Larrys on point with the better training needed... but Larry had one of if not the best jabs in the boxing so larry cant expect a late bloomer to boxing to master the jab like him, but in watching the fight again dontae only hope is to jab and move and faint the jab for the straight right... thats all the offense he has. But must develop a better defensive strategy and must be able to throw

But also watching again... no one says any positives but DW did right in the beginning, a min in, jabs and jab faints to a straight right were working and his movement was okay but lazy without his gloves up... he is no roy jones...he just cut back for some reason due to fatigue is the only answer.

For example, in the 1st fight

DW out jabbed tyson 8 of 12 rounds

more power shots 9 out of 12 DW.

2nd fight

5 out of 7 jabs for tyson
7 out of 7 power shots tyson

But in fairness when he caught DW in the 3rd... that was pretty much it.

Tyson, as the late great E Stewart said... is a very "smart" fighter and has good boxing skills and movement...

People say it was an illegal punch but he learned from AR that back ear shot works, he was clearly going for that ear punch... watch it again. He threw some straight rights and most looped around to the left ear before and after the knock down. They landed but not with the same power.

The best opportunity to catch an opponent is after a break... Tyson caught him when DW wasnt expecting that hard a shot after the break where hes be aiming since round one.

DW needs to use some of that money and get trained by Mayweather team for better defensive and counter-punching and conditioning and Lewis and or Homes and spar with VK for better jabbing and Foreman to utilize his power shots more than the straight or overhand right.

The costume is bs... nearly was the same for the Ortiz fight. It was the added 15/20lbs... clearly not conditioned like the first fight.

Depending on his training and weight... he will do better.

Tyson could hit a depression stage again and be off his boxing game... his dad says he should retire.

Crazy as things been happening in this world lately... never know :dunno:

Had a dream that Tyson Fury would not agree to the rematch clause with Wilder.
I'm not sure if anyone knows or remembers but after Fury's win over Kltschko, Klitschko explored legal avenues he had for suing Fury for failure to rematch b/c he was "medically unfit". In reality, I don't think Fury would cancel out only b/c I would imagine this would be another easy fight for him compared to fighting Dillian, Joshua, Miller or even upcoming feared Kownacki.

Sounds like a nightmare because there was a rematch clause, whoever lost has/had 30 days to enforce the mandatory rematch clause.

I know there is one. I'm saying that Fury had a history of ducking his rematch clause agreement. He did it to Klitschko, but I wouldn't think he'll do it to Wilder b/c it's such an easy fight for him.

That and just poor financial advice or budgeting. Street dudes or people with no proper guidance will fall for things that people with experience know to avoid. Like bogus real estate "investments."

Glad somebody like Roy said this. Been saying Ortiz is overrated.

Facts

"[Wilder] probably feels he [still had a chance] because he dropped Fury two times in the first fight but he was feeling much better in that fight because Fury wasn't fighting with a game plan, he was still learning him," Jones said to CBS Sports' State of Combat podcast.

"In the second fight, Fury had a great game plan and was executing it to a T! He was executing it to a T and there was nothing to do for Wilder but to go downhill. There was no uphill for him in that fight and anybody that thought he had a chance is crazy because Fury had broken him down from Round 1 and he was going downhill since then. If Wilder thought he had a chance, he was wrong and I'm sorry but that's just what the facts are."
With the victory, some have begun to call Fury an all-time great in the heavyweight division.
But Jones disagrees.

He doesn't view Wilder as the type of opponent to secure Fury that form or recognition - and he explains why - with a clear target on Wilder's long win streak.

"You can't call [Fury] an all-timer because the bully [Wilder] just hadn't been bullied yet," Jones said.

"The bully beat a lot of people, don't get me wrong. But if you look back at the names on [Wilder's] record, they don't add up to the names on Mikey Tyson's record. The only person that has a record that we knew anything about — and he never had a professional career and was a celebrated amateur, at best -- was [Luis] Ortiz. Ortiz was a good fighter but with his lack of pro experience, Wilder took him into the deep water last time and drowned him.

"That's the only real fighters I see on his record that you can say this guy is a real credible fighter because of his amateur career because he hasn't beaten anybody as a pro either. So when you look at it, Tyson Fury did take a bully that hadn't been beat yet and no one thought could be beat and he walked him down and beat him. Right now, he still has to beat a few more fighters to become one of the greats but he is a great fighter. I told Tyson Fury about 4-5 years ago that if you get yourself together and rededicate yourself, you could beat all these guys. That's what he's doing right now."

He should fire Breland, no because of throwing in the towel, but because he hasn't improved as a fighter. His voice and method isn't pushing Wilder to become a better fighter. Naazim Richardson or somebody like that.
I considered this, but then I wondered if Wilder might be one of those dudes who just won't listen. He had such success with that one punch thing maybe his ego just got in the way. Just a thought.
