One of the most interesting men with whom I've ever spoken with. A true Civil Rights Legend.

RIP Brother Gregory

I'm now wondering if D.L. Hughley might become Gregory's replacement. He seems to have gravitated towards politics. It would be good if he picked up that torch. He's been right on the edge the last few years.

NO one leaves this rock alive. But if you live, don't just be here taking up space. Live every moment, lift up someone, something and have some purpose greater than yourself. Dick Gregory did exactly that, and for that every person, particularly every Black person should take some time to reflect on his life and ask what they are doing with their own. Be better. Do better. Live better.

RIP Dick Gregory.

RIP to a real legend. We lost a legend tonight. He did so much behind the scenes for our people. So glad I was to able hear him speak at power talk this summer. I gotta tune in to the Carl Nelson Show (WOL 1450) on Monday.

I heard him speak in Harlem after the 911..and I was open to anything he said.I didnt care what came out his mouth even if people questioned it. He will be missed!!! I'm sad I didnt see him at Caroline's or B.B King. This one really hurts. Rest In Peace. His Service is going to be huge !!!!
