Did anyone apply for that 10K grant under the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan program??

Applied on 4/04 on sba.gov, got the full EIDL Grant on 4/14. I know of at least four other business owners who got the EIDL Grant. I have over 10 employees. Applied for the PPP, haven't got that yet, but starting to see a number of people say they are getting direct deposits from the PPP for 2.5x their average monthly payroll. Only people I'm seeing getting funded for the PPP are people who applied with small banks.

My homies wife got denied the loan but blessed with the whole $10k grant. She owns a dog grooming business thats inhouse and mobile but she also has 14 employees

Props to yall, most folks I know that legitimately applied on Day 1, have not received shit on that grant.

Democrats got played AGAIN. Fuck another bill. Trump walked off with 1.7 TRILLION in non oversight tax money.

I applied as an independent contractor earlier this week for the PPP program through Veem - https://www.veem.com/ Many of you heard that banks were requiring a relationship with them to apply for PPP. Veem doesn't. I also applied through my bank, PNC. I've heard nothing from PNC but got an email yesterday from Veem saying that I'm approved through Cross River Bank. I'll let you know if the funds actually show up.

If you go to SBA they say they are no longer taking applications for EIDL because the money is gone. Yes, the money is gone, but that doesnt mean if you applied you wont get the 1K. I've heard that it's because the money is based on applications. So yes, application wise they have no more money but some people applied multiple times and. Seeing that 20 million to Ruth Chris is alarming. I guess I'm speaking out both sides of the issue. I have not gotten my grant portion, but I did get the email on Wednesday. Many videos on YouTube said they got the money a day after noticing SBA checked their credit, but several said no credit check at all.

I also saw Veem said initial round is exhausted. My point is as soon as they pass the next round of funding, apply if you havent already. I also watched a real good video on YouTube today that said for self employed/independent contractors, the 75% loan forgiveness is automatically; however, it's based on 8 * you weekly income which is calculated as line 31 on your schedule C divided by 52.

Also, I've found that Meet Kev has the fastest and most up to date info on YouTube for both EIDL and PPP.

I know the money has been allocated to those who were "approved", but less than 5% of funds have been distributed last time I checked. Who knows when/if that money makes it to all those people.

Just an update, I did receive the loan documents and just signed them electronically. So, I had success applying through Veem. Apparently, Veem is trying to be the Zelle for businesses. I signed up for Veem and went through their PPP application. It was pretty painless. 6 months of Bank Statements, Proof you were actually in business prior to February, I included my 2019 tax file and a direct deposit form. It turns out the actual bank is Cross River Bank. According the CPA in the video I posted above 75% of my schedule c income is automatically forgiven. The other 25% becomes a loan after 6 months at 1%. That's the reason I did. Capital at 1% interest. Cant beat that.

Next up, EIDL. Actually, the cool thing is by getting PPP before I got the EIDL (If I do), I now do not have to use PPP to pay back any EIDL loan (the grant is separate).

Applying for these loans are counted as an inquiry for those who may not know.
I got this notice easier today.

It might be a charge, in think it’s a one time payment of 9.99 cent something like that. Just go to experian/equifax/transunion. They’ll all have the option.

It is free right now. I locked and unlocked mine during this debacle twice now. You have to have an account with each agency., Just set it up on their respective website.

I received the grant today. So, it deposited one week after I received that default SBA letter. No credit checks at all. I watched some other YouTube videos where they got the grant 1 week after getting the letter.
