People keep bringing up the liquor company shit like its the new "see..he was gone buy NBC" excuse for why Diddy getting caught up. Nawww. If it wasn't for Cassie filing the lawsuit, NONE of this would have happened. YT folks didn't give a fuck about Diddy until all this shit hit the media. Then it became low hanging fruit. If you know layout of events, then there's no reason to question the timing, bruh. Nooooo-body was checking for Diddy, man. Nobody. This nigga has been a fucking menace for YEARS. YT folks didn't care about this until Cassie filed her lawsuit. And Cassie filed about 4-6 months after Diddy declined to settle with Cassie. Folks are looking for a conspiracy where there really isn't one. This one is completely Diddy's fault. All he had to do was settle and he refused because he didn't believe she would sue him. His ego fucked him. Not crackas. They just took advantage of the bad situation HE created.

Folks definitely cared. I'm with you on that. All I'm saying is...this wasn't a "white people out to get him" type of thing. He has too much dirt on too many powerful people. Diddy was being protected. Just like Bill Cosby was. That dude raped and SA'd women for damn near 50 years was allowed to do it because he aligned with powerful people and accumulated enough wealth to quickly stop any outside threat from becoming a problem. Who would have thought that a comedian's joke would bring him down? It's the same thing, man. White people get caught up all the time but we pay more attention when Black people get caught up because our community is smaller and it means more to us. It hurts more. And sometimes we are definitely hunted like dogs and sacrificed but that ain't always the case. This is an example of an egotistical nigga doing himself in by being arrogant. Thinking he was above getting caught.

A former party planner, who worked with Combs during 2004 and 2005 and wished to remain anonymous, stated that women attending these parties were subjected to weight checks. “We would do a weigh-in, if necessary. The number was 140 pounds, but if a girl was really tall, there was a little bit of discretion involved,” said the planner, adding the other requirements included “no flab, no cellulite. Not overly pierced or tattooed. No short hair.”

The dress code reportedly demanded women wear “short” dresses, with “high stilettos” being non-negotiable. “No pants. No jeans. No flat shoes. Every girl had to wear a party dress, preferably very short, just enough to cover her butt cheeks, but no longer than mid-thigh. Cleavage showing. And every single one of them had to be wearing stilettos. That one, there was no exception: high stilettos,” the New York Post quoted the planner as saying.

Age verification was avoided altogether. “It was don't ask, don't tell. At the time, I was really young myself and honestly thought that we weren't asking their age because of drinking laws,” the planner said.

Another source, a dancer who performed at Combs' 2005 VMA afterparty, detailed an encounter, terming it “shady.”. The dancer said she was offered an additional $1,000 to join the party at Diddy's house later that evening but declined. “It felt shady. This script is old... if you're black and you want power in the biz you had to give up something.

Once you've followed thru and they have you you're elevated but you have to stay in your lane

and do what you're told (essentially). Diddy was finished... they had no more use for him.

They don't need someone to direct traffic thru in the music biz anymore... that model is done

and folks have been sufficiently neutralized.

Why is it that only the fuck boys got elevated to high levels? Either you're moved up or moved out.

Yea I think when diddy realized he was being discarded, that's when he wanted to give back publishing rights,

and try to come back to the community, but he just burned too many bridges on some, Im going to get my way
