That doesn’t even make sense, How is the owner gonna come up with a contract and then say it’s a bad idea. Something else was said besides “I think it’s a bad idea”

It’s a business, owner’s thinking about the future and trying to maximize his bottom line.

Scottie signed the contract in 1991, Scottie damn near signed to the year 2000!

Scottie wasn’t thinking about growth, he was think about the guaranteed money and that’s it.

Scottie was poor as shit and had a father who had to be taken care of and his mother was getting older

The injuries then wasn't like they are now. There's nothing now beside maybe an achilles that you can't come back from.

Yeah Scottie pretty much said that in the interview tonight, but I’m talking about the owner putting a bad contract in front of Scottie and then now talking about I told him it was bad idea to sign it. I’m like why would you even put a bad contract in front of him then

Hard to believe there's a bigger ego dickhead than orange man and forced, forget the best player ever, but the greatest (revenue generating) player out of your organization... is white ego privilege 101... both of them dickheads are to blame. I'd love to see what the projection loss was... probably near a billion in merchandise, ticket sales, ads etc value loss over probably two or three more years jordan would have played with phil.

The difference is, Jordan was making much more money off endorsements. If I I remember correctly, Pippen had a much smaller endorsement deal with Nike, and the only other endorsement was from Ginsana supplements. Remember "Feel your Ginsana"? :smh:

In Scottie’s defense you’ve got not one, but TWO relatives in wheelchairs and it ain’t like theyre cousins either it’s your daddy and brother? Two million dollars is enough to take care of them and everybody else back home in early 90s money and locking it in means you can do it without fear. Can’t blame him for making the bird in the hand decision.
