It's a given that the Steve Rogers as written in the MCU, were he unfrozen, would have tried to save MLK Jr. He would not have done it in uniform though. He'd have to do it in civvies and disguised. Had he gone to Memphis in uniform, Steve wou've ended up in a black site(if they had those back then), Peggy nor Howard Stark's juice would've been able to save his ass.

Goddamn, Nicque told NO lies. This could segue into a totally different thread based on this very topic.
She reminds me of another Latin Sista from my last Battalion. She went through even worse shit and it fell on deaf ears to protect CACs and the shit went on out in the open. She and I were as thick as thieves but were in different Units.
I was a Unit Victim Advocate and EO NCO and that morphed into the SHARP program. She also became a SHARP coordinator and she told us what she'd gone through during our training and certification with receipts.
There was another chick in MY Unit, White chick, who went through that same shit at the hand of our Battalion Commander, and SHE got promoted and the BC was moved around like a Catholic priest.
When I had sleep apnea from combat stress and PTSD moments, it was met with a "Big whoop, so does everyone else," attitude.
I could go on and on about this shit and dealing with the VA after the fact. I had to deal with a few hurdles, but if not for my record and awards, I'd probably still be fighting for compensation.

I had surgery on my left knee (bastards only gave me 10%) and when I get to my second ship I'm having issues with my left and right knee, my right ankle and my right hip.
The HMC (Hospital Corpsman Chief-E7) asked me, "Do you want to stay in the military? Do you want to have a career? This here, these complaints about this so-called "pain" you have in your knee or your hip or whatever will get you thrown out on your ass.
You want to go back to Cleveland with nothing? Do you? If they see this in your medical records they will put you out and send you back to Cleveland.
So what do you want me to do with these pages. If I take them out ,these visits never happened and you can have a long career. That's what you want, right?"

( also, seriously I need you Brothers to hit me up. I need to increase my percentage because of 10% is not hitting it. Sleep apnea which they say isn't connected to my military service, migraines on top of everything else and all they are doing is throwing pills at me. I'm 44 and I have migraines multiple times daily)
