Bruh from what I heard from other people and myself, that was the best show out of all of them on Disney Plus. Mackey and white dude did have that it factor you want from a duo. Oh well!

It wasn't the BEST, but it was damn good. For some reason internet tried to do some revision history like it was wack.

And of course like social media does, NOW it was the greatest. You would enjoy it bro had a great buddy cop vibe with great cameos.

The original plan and unfortunately downfall of the Disney + series was trying to make the shows MOVIES forgetting it was for TV.

It worked for SOME but not every series is built like that

Really the only show that was BAD or just not good was Secret Invasion in my opinion.

Mackie is a tad too full of himself relative to his actual acting chops and on screen charisma. He also treats the Publix c fan base like shit for some reason.

Cutting Buckey is a HUGE mistake. I'd rather they replace Mackie as I have never been a fan.

A Captain America with him as lead, in this climate, is basically dead on arrival box office wise.

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ CinemaCon Footage Shows Anthony Mackie Saving Harrison Ford From White House Assassination Attempt

New-ish Cap, same old shield.
Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson steps into his own as the star-spangled Avenger in the first look at “Captain America: Brave New World” that Disney shared during its CinemaCon presentation on Thursday. It sees the newly-minted Captain America saving Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the president of the United States, from a group of brain-washed assassins. The action-packed scene finds Wilson engaged in hand-to-hand combat, while dodging bullets as he desperately tries to rescue the leader of the free world from a daring attack on the White House.
The first look at the Marvel movie also showed Wilson getting an offer from Ross that he might not be able to refuse. “I want Captain America to help me rebuild the Avengers,” the President tells the patriotic superhero.

The sequel picks up after the events of the Disney+ streaming series, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” For the two readers who may not have caught “Avengers: Endgame,” Steve Rogers, Wilson’s predecessor as Captain America, went back in time and gave up his superhero role in favor of aging gracefully.

“Captain America: Brave New World” co-stars Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, the U.S. Air Force lieutenant who has become the new Falcon with Wilson’s promotion, along with Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas and Liv Tyler. Julius Onah (“The Cloverfield Paradox”) directs the movie.
Kevin Feige, who took the stage at CinemaCon, likened the film to 2014’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” a comic book movie that seemed to be partially inspired by the paranoid cinema of the 1970s. He described the new movie as “another fast-paced, relatively grounded action thriller” and noted that “there’s no aliens.” Instead of touching down from outer space (or Asgard), the villains seem to come from within the political establishment. “Our inner circle has been compromised,” Wilson tells Ross.
At other moments, however, the President and the super soldier seem to be in conflict.
“You’re not Steve Rogers,” Ross says cuttingly. “You’re right, I’m not,” Wilson retorts.
The film hits theaters on Feb. 14, 2025. There’s a lot riding on its success. Marvel, once an indestructible box office force, has struggled theatrically. Recent releases like “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” “Eternals” and “The Marvels” divided critics and failed to draw the same type of crowds.

At CinemaCon, Disney also shared footage from “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which opens this summer and finds Hugh Jackman’s adamantium-bedecked mutant teaming up with Ryan Reynolds’ merc with a mouth. That film, directed by Shawn Levy, is expected to be a major blockbuster in part because of fan excitement over the pairing of the two colorful stars.
“Captain America: Brave New World” was originally supposed to open this year, but its release was pushed back partly due to the actors and writers strikes that shut down production throughout the film industry.

Kevin Feige Introduces Action-Packed ‘Captain America 4’ Footage at CinemaCon

'Brave New World' arrived at CinemaCon during a panel that also showed off 'Deadpool & Wolverine.'

Kevin Feige and Anthony Mackie traveled to Las Vegas to introduce Captain America: Brave New World, the Marvel Studios movie that puts the actor in the starring role.
Feige called back to Captain America: The Winter Soldier as something fans still talk about, because it was a relatively grounded action thriller. He said Cap 4 would follow that tradition and showed a new clip.
Mackie has played hero Sam Wilson since 2014’s The Winter Soldier and appeared in multiple Marvel movies before headlining his own series, the Disney+ show Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which bowed in 2021. It told the story of Sam coming to grips with the idea of him becoming Captain America as a Black man in America after his friend Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) retires.

The new film picks up with him fully into his new role as Cap. It’s directed by Julius Onah, and introduces Harrison Ford to the MCU, with the actor taking on the role of Thunderbolt Ross, previously played by the late William Hurt in other MCU projects. Danny Ramirez is back as Joaquin Torres, a young man who picks up the role of Falcon from Mackie’s Sam Wilson. Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, Carl Lumbly and Shira Haas also star.
The clip opens at the White House, where Sam Wilson has been summoned by Thunderbolt Ross, who is now president. He asks Sam to help him rebuild the Avengers. The footage then jumps to Ross thanking Captain America and Phoenix for helping with a crisis. Suddenly, loud music begins playing in the meeting, to Ross’ confusion. The music somehow manages to trigger something in former soldier Isiah Bradley, who attempts to kill the president.

The footage was of particular interest given that after several years of pumping out films and TV shows, Marvel has pulled back on its output in order to refocus and recalibrate. It only has one film out this year, with Deadpool & Wolverine arriving in July, and just two films next year. Captain America 4 arrives Feb. 14, 2025, while Fantastic Four follows July 25, 2025.
At the end of the clip was a sizzle reel, with Ross telling Sam, “You’re not Steve Rogers.” Sam responds, “I’m not.”

I've been done with him ever since he played Striking Vipers.
