What Jacktron and most Americans don't realize is that Corporate Education / Educational Capitalism is making higher education a luxury that will soon only be afforded to a certain class of people.......
The Ohio State University was barely $20K in 2000 as an Ohio resident. That shit is nearly $40k now....and don't be a non resident ($55k+) or international student... that shit can be $75k for them...
The average family cannot afford to send their kids to school for 4 years outright especially when interest rates (read loan rates) are at 20 yr highs, food costs are still high....etc....
And trying to add a $150K - $200K loan when 40% of families are living paycheck to paycheck.....
We (as Americans) deserve more, but if we continue to let Billionaires and corporations price us out of our own market.... how can we win?

Electing Trump won't better the situation. He and almost all republicans in congress give less than a fuck about research or improving our scientific explorations and discoveries standing in the world. Thanks to those robot dogs from MIT which has been our attention grabber lately, we don't have much to show for our scientific discoveries or inventions. Foreigners will keep coming and Elon will keep hiring them because they make more sense to him to hire than Americans who he doesn't trust to run his facilities.

I was just reading about this caste system the other day. I would like to believe that we have checks and balances in place but with musks hand up Trump's ass, I'm not sure if we do anymore. The one good thing we have going for us is Trump needing the validation. If the Dems and others start really trolling him with the "President Musk" thing, he will have him removed. Just like Vance...that dude has been VERY quiet since after the VP debate.

Trump's tariffs would cause Elon billions in material costs. His rollbacks on EV subsidies and charging stations would cost billions more in lost sales, yet he rolls with him anyway.
I don't know what Musk's end game is, but it's probably pretty diabolical
