..or if/when they do, they'll somehow find a way to blame others. Default to things somehow being the Dems fault. "We lost", you know

And that's what kills me.

Republicans will sacrifice universal health care for prayer in school. Democrats sacrifice it for marriage equality. Both empower a system that robs them blind.

I don't know what the answer is, but it's clear that the solutions to our biggest problems won't come from any political party.

Sports teams have owners. It's clear that Elon wants to Jerry Jones the country with Trump as COO.

However, the country does need a better legal immigration system. Even people who come here the "right way" end up becoming illegals at some point during the process.
Immigration aka the pursuit of cheaper labor is always the solution in slavery. Always! The issue is that most slaves can’t imagine a world without someone who has God on speed dial.

I doubt it.

Trump's tariffs would cause Elon billions in material costs. His rollbacks on EV subsidies and charging stations would cost billions more in lost sales, yet he rolls with him anyway.

I don't know what Musk's end game is, but it's probably pretty diabolical
His entire wealth is fabricated like his the design of his cars. This is the bank crisis of the 1860s and 1870s again.

Except that immigrants are far more likely to start their own businesses than born Americans.

It is very interesting seeing the propaganda.

That said, there is definitely a battle brewing in Tech. For years, tech workers have been in high demand so they had a lot of power to command high wages and unbelievable perks for a long time. Tech made so much money that companies didn’t really assess their employees for effectiveness but just stockpiled talent even before they had actually projects and tasks for them.

Over the past few years companies have been seeing that they can be effective with less employees and tech workers have been getting laid off in the hundreds of thousands. If interested, look at layoffs.fyi which tracks layoffs. The numbers are crazy. On Reddit/layoffs, dozens of Tech workers are complaining about not being able to get jobs and blame Indian and Chinese Visa employees for it. They are often very racist about it too.

Elon and many other Tech executives have been saying that we should change out immigration to a more competitive one where we take only the “best and brightest” who can work in American companies rather than people who will drain American resources. India has alot of very educated people who have a better work ethic and less entitled than the typical American Tech worker so companies prefer to hire them until they can replace them with AI.

All of what you are describing is propaganda.

Tariffs:
A lot of other countries have Tariffs and are doing well.
EV subsidies: EV subsidies are a very small percentage of the subsidies that gas and oil companies get. Elon has always advocated for no subsidies. This would actually benefit Tesla when you compare the effect to them compared to their competitors. Elon’s businesses are killing it when it comes to execution while their competitors have been surviving because of government support. An open market will benefit the best companies.

He's mostly wrong if he's talking about Indians. But once again he shows that he's an imbecile who doesn't know what he's talking about. Even for his companies, he doesn't know shit. 90% of the work the Indians do has to be fixed or redone.
I guess you missed the depends on which Indians he's talking about and took what I said literally.

The bible said the antichrist would come through the great snake of politics. Maybe we assumed that meant as a candidate and not as the person in the back room with a political "face"...... just saying.....

Trump also plans to roll back support for EV charging stations. Without them many people won't be able to own electric cars. I don't see how that benefits Tesla.

The name of the game is getting there first. Musk has done that with Tesla Superchargers being the largest EV charging network on the globe and in the US. All he needs is for his competitors to fall by the weigh side and his conquest to corner the market is complete.

Not like he has an incoming President in his pocket he can manipulate.

The jumping apartheid retard could easily shift into energy from there.

Ok Negrodamus, predict what Elon Musk will do next that the "super-liberals / pro-whites" won't see coming. *thought bubble* I don't even know why I waste my time responding to this nigga.
I posted an entire thread about how Trump was destroying the so-called white community, specifically the red hat MAGAs over 4 years ago and Biden would come in and save them. He did because he (like his supporters) is a pro-white, super-liberal.

Trump is back and will finish off the rest of the trash. They can’t compete without racism and even that system is shakier than it has ever been.

Here go the whole long-ass post:

The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture. Tough questions demand tough answers & if we’re really serious about fixing the problem, we have to confront the TRUTH:

Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG.

A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.

A culture that venerates Cory from “Boy Meets World,” or Zach & Slater over Screech in “Saved by the Bell,” or ‘Stefan’ over Steve Urkel in “Family Matters,” will not produce the best engineers.

(Fact: I know *multiple* sets of immigrant parents in the 90s who actively limited how much their kids could watch those TV shows precisely because they promoted mediocrity…and their kids went on to become wildly successful STEM graduates).

More movies like Whiplash, fewer reruns of “Friends.” More math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less “chillin.” More extracurriculars, less “hanging out at the mall.”

Most normal American parents look skeptically at “those kinds of parents.” More normal American kids view such “those kinds of kids” with scorn. If you grow up aspiring to normalcy, normalcy is what you will achieve.

Now close your eyes & visualize which families you knew in the 90s (or even now) who raise their kids according to one model versus the other. Be brutally honest.

“Normalcy” doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent. And if we pretend like it does, we’ll have our asses handed to us by China.

This can be our Sputnik moment. We’ve awaken from slumber before & we can do it again. Trump’s election hopefully marks the beginning of a new golden era in America, but only if our culture fully wakes up. A culture that once again prioritizes achievement over normalcy; excellence over mediocrity; nerdiness over conformity; hard work over laziness.

That’s the work we have cut out for us, rather than wallowing in victimhood & just wishing (or legislating) alternative hiring practices into existence. I’m confident we can do it.
