But was it the PRICE that was the primary issue in this particular situation? We all know rent is high.

But it's the sub lease, electricity bill, is there a certain store front regulation needed?, the landlord not wanting them to film there, the original leaser not paying every month, etc.

correct me if I'm wrong but all that isn't really about the rent being too high.

Jimmy gonna try to spin it that he ain't want to snitch. But he super snitched already with the multiple interviews, security footage, phone calls, etc etc.

Just report the f**king crime if it's true. EVERYTHING can't be content.

Well in my boy case it was several people who were operating out the spot with different biz( storefronts).. one of the individuals weren’t paying his share of the rent for months maybe longer and when it came down to it and the owner of the building was like hey thousands were owed it was a lot of bread and coming up with it in limited time was gonna be hard so had to shutdown.. problem when you sharing a lease with several people

It wasn’t about them filming there it was more about the landlord believing they was up to some shady shit.. if someone said they opening up a barbershop but they never open wouldn’t you think they might be up to no good? Lot of criminals have used locations as fronts to do illegal activity and when you claiming your biz supposed to be 1 thing but when you pop up it’s never open or shit seem fishy you question it.. with all these stores being used for weed fronts and other drugs the owner probably thought these dudes might be another group doing so.. they be worried that them boys gonna shut them spots down and than they get hit with all kinda fines and possible charges cause they the owner of the locations.. I’ve seen situations like this b4 where the landlord suspicious was correct and also where they were wrong.

Its simple math shitted on everybody thst helped him get his numbers. He thought he was the star. Mecca been weak ever since the maga eps. I posted it here that he fell off. He was the only one saving the show. Shit he didnt even show up last few ep.

I really and truly respect loyalty. But Mecca sacrificed his own reputation for Math. I don't feel like that would have been reciprocated.

Especially post covid? Landlord ain't asking THAT many questions unless your making too much noise (or in this specific case not enough). They just want the money every month.

Have someone open the shop every every week, few days or every damn day. Sweep, clean, make social media post we open today 12 to 2! Then close up.

It ain't that deep.

Unless Math didn't pay the rent then he's definitely the victim. I only watched one vid where he was talking and it didn't sound like he did anything wrong, other than not ask the right questions to have all of the business done correctly.

If he paid his portion and the landlord was pocketing the dough, then there's nothing that he could do about that.

It looked like they wanted him there everyday so they they could blame the electricity bill on them so that he'd have to pay.

If they were there every day the bill might've been believable, but if you're only there a couple of times a month. They know that the bill isn't from them and now the landlord can't lie and they'll have to pay.

That's what I got from it.

Story didn't make sense, because if he was subleasing, how was the bill in his name to see it? Shit, and why didn't he pay it and then go after the landlord? Hell, not pay it and go after the landlord?

I hadn't thought of that.

Even if she (actual name on he lease) SHOWED him the bill - Math has PROOF he paid and that alone isn't even lawyer stuff. That is simple housing court stuff in one afternoon. I am ASSUMING Math had copies of every statement and every payment? RIGHT?

Even the power being cut of stuff he could have went to Co Ed office in downtown Brooklyn and get something done. Especially if he was SMART and said he would take all the other aggrieved tenants WITH him.

I understand Math is lazy as f**k but you would think being OFF 25 days out of the month, going to housing court and the Con Ed office wouldn't be too much of a hassle.?

He could do THAT to save his entire business?
