If that uppercut had any power Floyd would of been like this against Mosley. Holding onto his arm trying to stay up or knees buckling. Instead Floyd kept walking forward and throwing punches. The only punch that was an issue was the one on the belt line. Floyd doesn't like to get hit for him to stay close like that he knew there was no threat.

He is not ready to be a boxer, only about 30 of these punches had some snap to them. Floyd joked with him any active boxer would of dropped him by the 3rd round.

All punches from McGregor

And that "belt line" punch was below the belt.

goddamn this shit was awful...nigga didn't even have a real corner

I was listening to BoxingEgo talk about this. His people had zero experience working a corner but it was because Conor wanted to stay faithful to his team. Fuck that. You bring in someone qualified to do the job. Floyd spoke to Freddie Roach personally and asked him to train Conor.

This is also where the fucked up with Paulie. He came to their camp to help him learn but he just wanted to fuck him up.

But forgetting equipment is inexcusable.

Agreed - smart guy, albeit being over the top most of the time as analyst work in MMA is his whole existence now, and he's noted over the years that he doesn't follow other sports. His background prior to the analysis and commentary work/video breakdowns was as a rocker, with an amateur fighting background from '08 - '12. He's a stand-up individual though respected by most of his peers in the game, and has guested on plenty of other peoples' shows keeping the discussion going, and also shouting them out when he's doing televised & Youtube work ... so that they build up a following as well. Good on him for that.

Lol I swear he's got to be in suicidenwatch after all those hour long videos he kept making just to say Conor would win. His head blew up when he predicted last minute thag Ronda Rousey would lose to Holly. He made that judgement really off the final Face off really. Then he kept thinking he was some kind of master mind from then on and talking too much. He went for a long shot in this one so he could position himself as something special and failed again. He strikes me as the type of guy standing wanna take to a casino lol

Yeah -he must be exhausting to deal with on a daily basis in a work setting. Really big on Conor's "Celtic Cross" (as he deemed it) in recent years. I prefer the content from his former Fight Network colleague John Pollock who still works for them. He does a good job with his MMA Report podcast, and he also has a pro wrestling 'cast with his homie Wai Ting. But yeah - Pollock does a good job with his show. His colleague Cody Saftick at the Fight Network also comes on the show regularly and co-hosts with him. Really knowledgeable guy too, but less over the top than Robin B'.
