Most doctors don't even take medicare patients because of their lousy reimbursement policies. Folks don't realize corporations are honing in on physician practices and squeezing the hell out of them.

I work for an agency that runs Medicare and Medicaid programs. You would be surprised how much fraud and abuse there is. Also, federal Medicaid payments were 606 Billion in 2023, so this number is a multi year target.
That's nonsense. Show me data where docs are underbilling. And hundreds of medical providers are acted against every year. The Office of INspector General of HHS keeps some figures, and there's also an exclusion list of doctors. You're talking out your ass on this.

And if there was "so much fraud" going on then why did Medicare, who is always in the lead and other insurers follow, make it easier to commit "fraud" by allowing docs to charge based on time dealing with the patient.
I can add time even after they leave my office if I call another doctor on their behalf...fill out paperwork on their behalf as long as it all happens in the same calendar day.
