I have seen dudes say this a lot in a couple of threads and ya'll dudes are wrong.
Not wrong in saying that they should have used a zone but wrong in thinking that a team, especially a pro team, can just up and decide to implement a zone just cause it would be an effect defense.
You have to practice the zone to be able to apply it on the court and be effect. I highly doubt that pro teams other then the ones who use it constantly do this.
The Mavericks are one of those teams and have been running the zone for about ten years or so, it wasn't Rick Carlisle who decide to use the zone it was Don Nelson that originally had The Mavs it. Then Johnson kept it in the arsenal after him and then Carlisle.
The Thunder would have look silly and out of place if they would have tried to run a zone.

Overall, the ratings for First Take have been dropping. People are tired of SAS and Skip and the whole debate thing. The novelty is wearing off and it's evident in the ratings.

What you hate most about skip is that he is so biased it ridiculous. Tim Tebow, Brett Favre, etc. What you hate most in any debater is that they have their mind made up about an topic before they hear the elements of that topic. He is old as hell so that may play a part.
