I got lucky....it was 6 characters ready to race me, and one by one they all got pissed and walked/logged off because it froze up. Then i was the only person there. After about 5 minutes of that (i was reading something, forgot i was there waiting still) it loaded up and i got to race Lamar, just me and him. I spanked the shit outta him! Glad i didn't have to race a bunch of people!
Oh yeah the fastest easy way to make money is robbing stores and selling cars. Get a car, lose the cops and then fix the damages then sell it. Don't get nothing too fancy they won't buy it. I think in up to a good 25k now and i have only robbed 2 stores. Oh another thing....buy a mask before robbing stores. Equip the mask, rob the store, then after you get the loot and walk out take the mask off. You INSTANTLY lose one star as soon as you take the mask off.
And for u bitch ninjas plotting to rob me, i only carry $500 in cash on me at all times. You thieving ass dudes ain't gonna catch me slipping! Lol

GTA online is the biggest flop of the year. They should have waited until they had enough servers before launching it

I knew it would be tough on the servers, but that shit yesterday was terrible. Didn't get a chance to play a single match and this was after waiting for about 2 hours.
i don't know about ya'll but I dont like the character creator either. It's limited as hell and it damn near impossible to make a light skin black dude. My character came out looking like a cac

R* should have put the online mode off the January 1st and had an online beta before this year ends. After the preorder sales came in they knew they wasn't prepaired for the online storm that was coming. Would have been better to disappoint people with pushing back the online release date than to give us something that the majority of us can't play.
I don't like the character creator either. It's was nice of them to try something different but they need to work the kinks out.
I just sent two invites out.

Yeah I spent a hour trying to play and couldn't do a single thing

I was playing yesterday and it said I had to complete the training or something before I could join up with people in my crew, but I didn't see where the training was. Hopefully by the weekend everything will be running smooth
