It was good to me, borderline overkill but still enjoyable, liked it just as much as the first.
Looked really expensive too, enjoyed the entire cast and the action but did I mention it looked really expensive tho' ?
I liked the fact they had a p-funk song on the soundtrack wish the flick had more of that.

Funny note re: IPods. Got a 2nd gen IPod touch in July 2009. By late-Decmber it was a brick. Wouldn't power up/recharge or sync. Wouldn't turn on. Took it to one of their stores the 1st quarter of 2010 and got a refurbished one in a little over 10 minutes. It has worked great ever since. Got a 5th gen Touch in late-2013. Works great. Surprised the refurbished older one is still going 7.5 years later - just want to recycle it but it's a podcast-playing beast.

Saw this movie last night the best I can say is the movie was OK. IMO nothing thrilling, it was better than the original. But its loaded with action, an interesting plot, cut jokes, great special effects but the characters (to me) just aren't that interesting. I won't bother going to see the next.

It was pretty good. Saw it in 4DX. I give it an A-. Some people loved it and some didn't.

We see Peters parents in 1980. Then our first scene with the gang is 34 years later. 1980 + 34 = 2014. This does not equal the events of Avengers, Avengers 2, and the rest of the gang. Couple that with *ahem* talking about taking out Thanos...add four years...the movie comes out in 2018...
You forget the folk at Marvel are fucking geniuses and have taken into account the effect of time/space differential that occurs between events observed here on earth and the time difference experienced by those in a different area of space and thus time.

@godofwine @Helico-pterFunk i got a gen 2 laying around. It works but battery is shit. Also got a gen 2 shuffle. That thing is a tank. Been washed, ran over, etc. still working strong.
Now wouldn't be a bad time to reintroduce something like a Zoon. Refresh as the media device for your car so it can play media via Bluetooth or analog via USB or aux.

Frankly I love it and one aspect people seem to forget ...
ALL that Marvel has done and attempt to accomplish, has been done with the B and C/D list characters and groups. Yet they still have worked around the loss or Handicap of not having these players available and shifted the story to other (lesser) groups.

They built 'em well. The 2nd gen has bounced off of concrete, wood, pavement and tile. Still going fine with some hairline cracks. Use it mostly for emails and podcasts. The 5th gen gets multitasked and used for everything. Had giftcards from contest wins for Toys-R-Us and price matched it with Best Buy when they were on sale post-Christmas 2013. The 2nd gen was a bday gift years ago.
