Great boxer and businessman.
But stayed on the wrong side of history a few times in his life.
His most memorable knockout to me and I’m still scratching my head.
How Moorer let that old man one hit him like that?
]
I don't think they're anymore great fighters from the 60's and 70's left.In the world of professional boxing, 3 names always stood out for me as a little Black boy growing up in Harlem in the '70's.
- Ali.
- Frazier.
- Foreman.
And now all 3 of these giants have left us.
I legitimately do not have the words...
RIP.

They just showed his last public appearance on the late news here in Houston. It was at an event in November. He looked frail. This one really shocked me despite him getting up there in age he always seemed to have so much life in him and doing well.
I don't ever recall seeing him look ill at any time ir hearing it so I thought he'd be around for a while.
R.I.P. to a legend who had a hell of a run in life and definitely left his mark.
Roberto Duran is still here, but yeah the list is thinning out.I don't think they're anymore great fighters from the 60's and 70's left.
I was talking about the heavy's but yeah, not too many left from any weight class.Roberto Duran is still here, but yeah the list is thinning out.
Oh yeah all the Heavy’s except Larry Holmes. (Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Norton, Shavers, Lyle)I was talking about the heavy's but yeah, not too many left from any weight class.
That left uppercut walking to Cooney was one of the nastiest shots that I have ever seen in boxing... RIP to The Champ !!RIP Champ

I don't know why but I forgot about Holmes.Oh yeah all the Heavy’s except Larry Holmes. (Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Norton, Shavers, Lyle)
This is why I think most were shocked as he seemed to be doing well. The irony is he always talked and sounded better than boxing Champs 20, 30 years younger in last interviews. Shocked me like Haggler. Got to be more to the story, but none the less, incredible life. Had two lifetimes of legacy in the ring and a 3rd outside the ring with his grill.
