....when they signed up to use the industry testing agency, they probably signed a waiver that allows the agency to release names to alert the other performers of everyones +/- status...After the agency alerts other performers that they recently performed with an hiv-positive performer, how long will that name remain anonymous to the public??...I'm sure it violated HIPPA laws but it may not have been the testing agency that was the problem but just word of mouth spreading it around by other people that had worked with him....although the testing group probably had to pay for it in the end.

If you tested positive and you knew you had sex with a few people recently would you contact them to let them know what was up and that they should get tested ASAP?...
