Mine is refunding for when they're closed.

I'm hitting up the work gym. Not the same....and no eye candy.

Mine closed earlier this week, because of the governor. They tried their best with the cleaning all day. Governor laid down the hammer.

White boys don't believe in social distancing. Just the other day some dude wanted to share machines.

So you're not going out at all? Because you can say the same about the store. You know how many people have touched that cart or item on the shelf.
at 1 of the hidden destinations for goods in a minority area in ny they offer Clorox wipes for you to rub down cart and for your hands as soon as you enter the store.. Got to love establishment that black people run cause they know how to run things the proper way.. A few times in the past several days as I went there to get supply for myself, family and others I seen the employees g check a few germ carrier suspects (euros and asians) cause they didn't know how to follow rules

Real stores have been doing this for years. I don't shop at places that don't have sanitizer or wipes.

For those who want a sober, scientific, non alarmist, non conservative assessment of the situation peep this article.

"Finally, what's the most important question I didn't ask? And what's the answer?

The most important question is, "How do we all get through this?" And we get through this by focusing on what we know, and what we need to learn, and taking care of each other — so not by discriminating, not by panicking, and not by trying to isolate ourselves with our 500 rolls of toilet paper. If you're my age, you have lived through two pandemic influenza outbreaks, 1968 and 2009, you have lived through HIV, you have lived through SARS and MERS and the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. And in every one of these cases, using what we know we have either been able to make huge advances in minimizing the impact of these viruses, or actually containing them completely. And that's going to help us with this virus too."

For those who want to run around like their ass is on fire, get some help.

Why is he comparing this to 2009 flu pandemic? .001 death rate? The 1968 pandemic had a .03 deathrate. HIV is risked base as a mofo. Ain't catching that shit taking someone to the doctor. I don't recall anyone dying from SARS or MERS in the U.S., so I ain't live through that either. Don't recall ebola deaths in Ohio,.

Terrible fucking examples. :smh: This one of Trump or Hannity's guys?

Family in Jersey just had a fucking dinner party. 3 are dead. Yeah, this shit just might be a little different than the examples we've lived through. They can't even plan funerals or more family might fucking drop.

I get the point about not panicking and doing dumb shit like toilet paper hoarding, but terrible fucking examples used to try to convince people.

I work 35 to 45 minutes from my job and I work remotely since last Thursday, so it's a benefit. Instead of waking up every morning at 6:30, I wake up every morning at 7:50. It's sad that it comes at the expense of many people getting sick.

Same, this has been good for my sleep.

I wish the bosses at my job would realize we don't have to be in the fucking office, but we're run buy old curmudgeons that believe work should be done at work. Shit won't change around there until they retire or the other thing

This confused me... You're working remotely but most of your office isn't?

Yesterday we got a letter with our checks, stating that due to the current situation they gonna stop mailing or issuing paper checks.
Direct deposit is what we have to setup now.

I am out early to toilet paper hoard. Hope to get 1 or 2 from Kroger, Walmart and Costco or at least 2 of the 3. I have 2 Costco packages and 2 backup stashes at home but I feel it's not enough. Orders on Amazon are a month out.

I haven't gone through all the pages here.
But like myself, I'm sure some of you have jobs in which there's not much choice in regards to dealing with the public.
Working in the Grocery Industry has been a real panicky bitch for a lot of us these last few weeks.
Shipments have been few and far in between.
Our warehouses dictate what we get for now. Not us who do the order-writing.
So there's barely a damn thing on the shelves.

This is also the time of year in which my allergies are a pain in the ass.
The GirlFriend having a cat doesn't help either whenever I see her.
So I stay home from work whenever I can afford to.

This confused me... You're working remotely but most of your office isn't?
Two of the offices are (Cleveland and Dayton) but the boss is acted like they hated to give it to us. The rest all the offices in the Eastern United States can't do it because the system isn't built to handle so many people on telework. I don't know what they're going to do when it gets mandated from up high because the virus spread so badly.

As someone said, this working from home helps morale. No more:

waking up early as fuck

missing out on breakfast

35-minute drives behind some slow fuck dumbass who has nowhere important to go

Tired as fuck by the time I get to work because of the stressful drive

Almost dying because someone on the drive to work changed lanes without signaling causing a crash

I could go on. The manager of the Cleveland office said, "Work is for working home is home."

But his wife probably hates him and he hates his wife which is why he didn't want to be at home even though his ride is as long as mine. He's almost 60.

The senior department head over all the offices in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana and more I think, hates that we have telework available at all. He believes the same way as the other dude.

This motherfucker said, "Telework isn't for babysitting your kids."

I only a motherfucker who has been in the military as a 30 year Air Force Colonel who is been gone so long he barely remembers his kids names think you babysit your kids.

Any active parent knows that you don't fucking babysit your own goddamn kids. But his wife probably can't stand his ass either

Its hilarious to me that you'd dismiss an expert in this field because you FEEL like it.

He used the data from the Corona virus TODAY as an example first. There are fewer cases now where it broke out than expected.

He used the most recent pandemic as the second example, because that's SCIENCE.

He used all other pandemics because that's what you do when you're using SCIENCE.

I cant debate emotions, feelings, bitch assedness and superstition.

I WILL continue to post fact based information that might not be popular based on political view.

When you post fact based interviews from experts we can talk.

No more almost dying is a good thing!

Although, in these times, I'd rather take my chances with the traffic. :(

I am here in DC and if you hungry, need assistance, or anything, there are people doing whatever they can to assist.

I see this and feel like I should be doing my part, but I was sick last week and have been really cautious about human contact. I'm not in need-- actually comfortable so I hope to be helping assist, just don't feel like I'm quite ready for that yet.

Sanders email that just went out:

Rembrandt -

In just a minute, I’m going to ask you to split a contribution between five charities helping people deeply affected by the coronavirus pandemic. First, please let me explain why this ask is so important.

We are likely already in a recession because of the coronavirus. It's been estimated that the unemployment rate could hit 20% if we don't act boldly.

All across the country, stores, bars, restaurants, and other small businesses are closing their doors. Many are laying off workers, reducing hours, or going out of business entirely.

What is brewing is an economic crisis that, without bold action, will leave many people behind. While Bernie is working to find solutions to help people at scale, we wanted to ask you to support five charities who are assisting those who need help right now.

These five groups — Meals on Wheels, No Kid Hungry, Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, One Fair Wage Emergency Fund, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance — are helping people affected. And they can use your financial support right now. That is why I’m asking:

Please split a $27 contribution between these five charities right now to immediately help those who need food and financial support.

This is my plan this weekend. Buy one or two from different places. But only the 4packs though.

Just got back from THE HUNT. Here's the specs:

Went to 3 COSTCO'S and 1 Janitorial supply store.

COSTCO'S:

2 Toilet Tissue Packages
2 Paper Towel packages
1 bag of oranges
1 double-container olive oil
1 3-package sliced turkey

JANITORIAL SUPPLY STORE

1 12-Roll box of JUMBO 2-ply toilet paper
2 packages reusable gloves
Combined with what's already in the house, I shouldn't have to think about paper products for a year and a half at least. I have at least 3 months of canned, fresh, and frozen food. Bring it on.
