You can easily get huawei phones in the US.. I've had two. Just install the google apps, including the play store, and it works fine. As far as spyware, what do you think Google, Apple and Meta apps are? They already track everything we do on these phones. Android's entire ecosystem is built around Google having our email, messages, location....etc.

It’s a satellite phone.

That’s the only think that makes it kinda with the money. As someone who flies nearly weekly, it would be great for watching movies, looking at spreadsheets and shit, other work-related shit without lugging an iPad or tablet around.
