man I grew up watching MJ dominate, win all those ships, copping his shoes til this day... but what LeBron is doing this playoffs... he's trying to get past that bar MJ set IMO and he's looking damn good trying 2 do it.

Thank you! Lebron is nice wit it, but he got 2 all stars who were drafted in the same year as Lebron!!!

Can you imagine if Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen went to Houston talking about they want win championships? There would be no Jordan legacy. It would just be a Houston Rockets legacy.

Cats need to put the kool-aid down and stop making Lebron appear to be more than he is. He'll never achieve the same legacy as Jordan even if he wins 6 or 7 rings with Miami. He doesn't have what it takes to win a championship with his own team. He needs "helpers". Gimme a break. :rolleyes:

I'd love to see some of these new guys playing in the NBA 10 or 20 years ago, when you'd get straight hacked. These cats would be looking for the whistle and get the ball stripped from them. '89 Pistons would have had Lebron crying in the car, forget about Jordan's Bulls. The league had to change the rules just so people could be able to compare Kobe and Lebron to Jordan.

LeBron physically is a beast. He can score. His shot gets better each season.

No one doubts his game, but everyone doubts his heart.

One thing Lebron lacks that Jordan always had was mental toughness as well as being consistent.
 
Honestly, I think pound for pound Lebron James is more talented than Mike. Where the difference comes in, and it's a large immeasureable gap, in in between the ears.

Mike gave a fuck about one thing and one thing only: winning. Not being his teammates friends or confidants, but winning. If you wasn't with that program, then shit was finna get real, and fast.

Mike had a edge that's almost unrivaled and that's the difference between him and Lebron. It's an attitude that I can't see him having.

LeBron is a beast and will be a Top 5 player of all time but Jordan was majestic on the floor and the greatest of all time.

The closest player I think to Jordan is Kobe. And its probably because he patterned his game after MJ.
 
Mike had a lot of help from the refs. I respect what Kobe and LeBron are doing more than Mike. Mike was supported and promoted by the watered down NBA. The Lakers were doomed this year we soon as Kobe got caught calling the ref a faggot. He couldn't get obvious foul calls.

The NBA tried to help LeBron the same way they did Mike in 2009/10 but he is such a big pussy that even Stern couldn't promote that punkbitch.
 
I had a chance to grow up during the "Jordan Era". I have yet to see a player with a killer jumper as Jordan. Dude rarely took nights off. The only player to closely resemble Jordan is Kobe and he is a cheap imitation. LEbron is great but stop the Jordan comparisons. You make yourself look bad.

yea that shit is extremely laughable. I remember some Heat band wagon idiot tried to brag about that Bron vs Rose match up in the Heat vs bulls thread.
Even though Rose is around 6'- 6'1" and barely 190lbs and Lebron is 6'8" and almost over 250lbs...they stil couldnt understand why Rose was having problems when when Bron guarded him.

Because of his defensive? IMO a lot of Lebrons dominance on defense and some of his offense can be accredited to his his size & strength. Ive seen him just bump niggas multiple times and throw them completely off their game. Jordans defense was more so a byproduct of his quickness and intelligence.

Offensively Lebron hasnt done shit that comes close to what Jordan has done. Jordan was well rounded when it was all said and done and was a much better half court player during the majority of his career.

Lebron is hella nice...the only thing he has Jordan beat on is being a team player early in his career. But considering the talent that Jordan faced and the way that he dominated things that he's done agaisnt that talent...Lebron or Kobe are and probably will never be the type of player that Jordan was.

I saw Jordan, Kobe and Lebron play live and in person with my own eyes. Lebron nor Kobe are close to Jordan status. Considering the talent level and how the league is formatted Lebron wil pass Jordan on a few statistical categories...so will Kobe. But when its all said and done Jordan wil always be considered the G.O.A.T by many.

I know a lot of folks are drunk on he Lebron punch right now..and understandably so...but pls stop the BS comparisons. First Grant Hill..then Kobe..now Lebron. :smh:
