My favorite terminator was the series on Fox

That series was amazing. I'm not sure they would have held it together for another season, but I really feel like they did enough work to have the chance for it. But they were really tap-dancing around the timeline, though.

I got to meet Summer Glau at a convention once, and she is such a low-key person. Not that I expected her to be hyper or anything, but she is a really solid example of how some actors are quiet and introverted off screen.

3 and 4 is on netflix and i had shit else to do so watched again ... cuz i remember when it 1st dropped people dogged it

but it aged well...even i didnt really like it tht much when it 1st dropped but it dam sure grew on me ...

I'll give Terminator 3 another shot. I can remember not loving it when I saw it in the theater but maybe I expected more or I expected different

Yeah. This was specifically true with scifi shows. FOX was really good about adding scifi shows to their lineup, but they had no loyalty and zero idea how to cultivate an audience. I used to call their end of week lineup the Friday Night Death Slots, because I knew any show set for that wasn't going to make it for very long.

I think what happened was that lightning struck with X-Files, and then they spent years trying to make that happen again without realizing that that's not how it works. Heck, they almost sabotaged X-Files by moving it around and forcing executive decisions. The only reason that show survived and prospered is because it's fanbase was hardcore and ride or die for it no matter what they did.

I actually liked the Terminator tv show
Thought it was pretty good

It got canceled because Fox network is run by idiots
They put the 2nd season on a different timeslot (Friday nights)
And it didn't get the ratings to justify the production budget

I hope you stick with it I love the show. It doesn't have modern pacing though where they throw everything at you at once which I personally like when things build up. I hate most modern tv shows and movies they be doing too much imo.

I believe Fox had to choose between cancelling this and dollhouse and they cancelled the more expensive show which was terminator.
