I was just profiled,followed by a cop. What are your experiences with this?

I'm doing overtime at the job and went out for breakfast. On my way back, I saw a police car heading in my direction Dash I wasn't wearing my seatbelt but I was just about going the speed limit. For my Cleveland fam, I was in Independence on Rockside between Burger King and Applebee's.

I saw him turn into an apartment parking lot and turn around to follow me comma telling right behind me about 50 yards. I turned my cruise control on, and put my seatbelt on when I saw him turn around. I was only going about 37-38 in a 35 zone. I almost always use cruise control in the city for situations just like this

The cop followed me for about 2 miles. When I change blame comma using my turn signal of course, are prepared to turn on the street where my job is. He busted a u-turn and headed back in the direction he was originally going. Fuck ass cops

This experience wasn't shit, I've had worse. What are some experiences that you've had with cops profiling or following you for no goddamn reason?

I was fucked with by police three times in one month. They were looking to fuck wit niggaz. One stopped me cause they told me that some bitch called in and said that a black man was looking into people's cars. The second time I was lied upon and fucked with by police in a Citi Bank. A bitch said I was with her as she was trying to steal money from a bank. The third time I went into a department store where the employees set me up trying to say I was stealing which I was not. They were all looking to lock me up.

You can absolutely get pulled over and get a summons for not having a seatbelt on while driving... It's not a secondary charge it's a violation of the vehicle traffic law code in whatever state you reside in..

The vehicle traffic law code IN OHIO, where I'm from and the OP lives, states you can only be cited for a seat belt when stopped for another offense.

The law provides for a $30 fine for drivers and a $20 fine for front-seat passengers found to be unbelted when stopped for another violation.

If he was wearing his seat belt (following the law of the land) and driving the speed limit (another law of the land) then maybe, just maybe he wouldn't have been followed. But since he was law breaking a law, by his own admission he invoked that right to be followed.

Can you visually tell the difference between 37 and 35 MPH? Seriously? The street that I was driving on was DOWN HILL, so it would be impossible even with the cruise control on, which it was, to maintain the 35MPH that I had the cruise control set at unless I rode the hell out of the brake.

No, I didn't have on my seatbelt, but the cop saw me being Black, rode behind me checking my plates hoping that he could get me for something - ANYTHING, and he couldn't. I always use cruise control cuz I know cops are dirty, and I wear my seatbelt most times, and always on the highway.

As far as a visual difference, I don't know, but maybe just maybe after he passed you, he decided to clock you too.

I was pulled over one nite cause he thought i didn't have enough tread on my tire then he warned me about having offsets on it I think he liked my mustang I had just got it! I've had one pull me over cause it sounded like i was going fast pipes will do it every time Lol i was cruising in Bham one nite and a cop pull me over and ask was i a pimp cause i had three chicks in my Mustang that nite and ran everybody in the system for warrants!
