My dad had a sailboat growing up. It was a smaller one - 17ft, if I remember correctly. Engine had 5HP or less, lol.
He then upgraded to a 24ft that he shared with a friend of his. Friend had his own dock and an interesting property (some 200 stairs from his back door down to the waterfront). They kept the boat there and saved on the marina fees my dad was paying for years prior with the smaller boat.
I love my current boat. I can't even lie, I got eveey penny I paid for it and I don't regret shit.
Just time for bigger, my kids girls are older they live to fish, flinders and striper ain't cutting it anymore. They want mahi and tuna. Even when the ocean is glass I got a 10 mile max, I don't feel comfortable taking my boat any further.

i had planned on being in FL this week....J'ville and Tampa.....and return tomorrow morning so i can attend the Cowboys game against the Ravens.
Ended up holding off those plans til next month. My uncle in J'ville used to have a 32' Regulator. Used to love goin out in St. John's Bay and a few miles out in the Atlantic fishing.
Regulator is a nice boat !!
I wasn't planning on going to a 32, I looked at 26 sea hunt, cobia and a 28 blackfin.
Contender been my dream fishing boat, or a seevee.
Broker called me and said I think I found a boat but it's more than I know you want to spend but a great price, catch a flight and we can take it out.
I feel in love with the boat.
He asked 241k, I offered 227k, now I sit and wait.
I went to an event today where there was another party next door, an African wedding. A bunch of the ladies had their tittays on display like this. That's how they roll. I told my wife that I just wanted to sit in the hallway and chill, but she said she’d join me and that’s no fun. But they were walking around and them tittays were swaying from side to side. Lol, they were mangrove snapper and some hogfish mixed in and honestly hogfish is way better eating.
Had 6 keeper gag grouper that got releasesed due to the season ending 4 days prior, which sucked.
