In Alabama you have to be insured to get a contract for lawn care. But the average Joe wanting to cut grass is not a problem if in the neighborhood. You just cant cut at businesses

The state of Illinois wants all landscaping workers to be certified and licensed. Landscaping is one of the few hustles that only required equipment, good service, and a work ethic. It has passed the Senate floor but I hope the House puts this shit down.

I know Illinois needs revenue but this will hurt many people in this business. The large landscaping firms wants to eliminate the competition and make it harder for others to get a piece of the pie. If Illinois passes this BS bill other states might follow suit. It must be defeated.

Man, thats sum crazy shit.. Im willing to say, a landscaper company knows a few senators and talked them into passing laws so they get all the business.. They have been playing this game on the people since all this shit started.. Why doesnt the fed, state or city ever pass laws that address and fix these social issues?? But, they add 1000's of laws to the books every year.. Some laws are hidden inside other laws and just sit there for 5 to 10ys hidden until they wanna bust them out!! Anyway, thats a pretty sad landscaping law!! Too many kats are making a good living off taking care of lawns and the corporation wants all that money!!
