Your nephew, Marlon attends a private elementary school in Manhattan and last week he missed a few days because of illness. His school is going on Winter Recess from December 23 - January 1, and his teacher Ms. Stock called your sister and was wondering if there was someway that Marlon could get the assignments that he missed while he was out of school?
Your sister didn't feel like driving over to Manhattan from New Jersey and asked you if you could pick up the assignments from Ms. Stock. You didn't have a problem with that the only thing was that the school let out at 3:00 PM, and you didn't get the message until later on. You asked you sister could she call Ms. Stock and have her meet you somewhere?
Ms. Stock said that it was okay if you came by her apartment (which is actually within walking distance from your place). So you left out around 6:15 PM, and when you arrived at Ms. Stock's building you were greeted by the concierge (you assumed that she might have left Marlon's assignments with him). He called her and she wanted you to come upstairs.
It was funny, because you had passed by Ms. Stock's Fifth Avenue apartment several times and actually remembered when they were constructing the building, but never went inside (way out of your price range). Now, you would actually get to see what the building looked like first hand and it was everything that you though it would be.
When you got to Ms. Stock's apartment you remember ringing the bell and had to wait for about a minute before she came to the door. You noticed her attire and assumed that she would just greet you at the door and you would be on your way, but instead she invited you inside.
You hesitated at first because Ms. Stock was dressed as if she was "entertaining company," and you apologized for possibly interrupting something? She said that she was just home alone and actually wanted to meet you in person because your nephew Marlon speaks so highly of you (in addition, to her having seen some photographs of you at family functions).
You told her that Marlon is a good kid and that was nice of him and you as well, and then Ms. Stock, call her Danielle wanted to know if you had any plans for the evening? Well, you stated that you planned on watching the College football game between Indiana vs. Notre Dame, and she said that you could watch it here.
After a long pause you said: "Well"
Then Danielle looked at you and countered with her own version of "Well"
