No doubt. That's the 1st thing I thought when I read news of Iran launching upgraded drones that NATO has difficulty defending against, plus cruise missiles coming from different directions makes the Iron Dome a non-factor.

No, the mainstream is behind and running certain reports through the AIPAC filter, including the IDF report posted, that mentioned "Iran launched around 100 drones", when Iran has launched way more than that (around 500 and counting) in the next waves.
For example, unfolding events like this will either be filtered or not reported by the mainstream:
