he's a below par rhymer with nice beats. thats all
Glad to see his growth from Wayne and Cash Money. Bout time he released another album nigga got hella mixtapes. Lol
I Don't think he gets the credit he deserves don't think this new album will get the support it deserves but I'll definitely show my support for it.

I agree that he is great in his lane. But when you call him "a great" you gotta tack shit on behind it like "a great weed rapper"
Currensy's music isn't really mainstream enough. He doesn't make club or pop records like a Drake, Future or Lil' Wayne and that's why he'll never be one of them.
That's the difference between Wiz and Currensy. Wiz will make those pop records and those club records because thats what his label wants, but IMO those kind of records hurt Wiz's brand. People want Kush & OJ/Cabin Fever Wiz (I call him "mixtape Wiz"), that's why he got put on. Then he drops that Rolling Papers bullshit filled with all those pop records and ditched his whole sound and his real fanbase was like "WTF? Where's the got damn Cardo and Sledgren beats at?" That's why Wiz gotta drop hot ass mixtapes right before he put an album out because he knows his real fanbase ain't fucking with them albums. Wiz even admitted he didn't really like Rolling Papers.
I think Spitta peeped that and stayed true to his sound. But IMO, I think his new label (Atlantic) is trying to nudge him into that Wiz direction a little bit. I think that's why I'm not anticipating his album as much as I normally would. The only new song that I've felt so far is the one Ty Dolla Sign.
He's good in his lane but I wouldn't call him a great. And there's a few more on da Jets roster that's better than he is (Roddy, Smoke DZA, Le$).
Jet la, lala, liiife...somebody tell my dude to spot singing that gd jingle dada, dat, da, dat at the beginning of every track though
Tryna tell'em.I caught his show here in stl a couple weeks ago, shit was live.
I think we have a winner here.I ride out to youngin all the time. He picked up where Devin ended for me.
Well someone liedI'm a fan of Spitta, but this new album
Like someone said, the beats are wack
Pilot 2...how'd I forget. That album is flawless to me!Bales, Covert Coupes, Pilot Talk 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>
I like it but this the most commercial I've ever heard him. You can tell the label had some say so...its some cold ass beats on here, ol boy from 808 mafia did his thing but I wanted a couple monsta beatz & cardo on here. It's cool though, just wasn't expecting this sound from him. I wish cruzin was longer too! & that song w/fiend & corner boy is knockin'!!!I'm a fan of Spitta, but this new album
