If I can find the video I'll post it, but I once saw an interview with either a HAMAS or Hezbollah commander who said they learned they could fight the IDF by engaging them in close-range combat. When they're fighting in close range, Israel's fighter jets can't bomb them without bombing the IDF soldiers. Additionally, Hezbollah had gained a lot of ground combat experience from fighting in Syria that the IDF lacked as well.
