No Patriots simply lack the talent. Those guys don't have bad technique they just don't have the physical ability and talent to do any better. As a fan I can live with that because the system is fine, they just need better pieces. Dallas secondary has bad technique, our system is completely broken. No matter who is in there they get burned or fucked up. Newman and Jenkins have all the physical gifts in the world, yet can't cover a mattress.

One game our pass blocking is terrible but our run blocking is solid. The next game our run blocking is trash and our pass blocking is on point. A young and inconsistent line.
This is about the time of the game where our defense finally lets up.

There was a time when Jenkins, Scandrick and Newman were all solid. Newman is older but I don't buy age being why he does some of the shit he does.
I'll say this about the secondary. No one will probably agree but its been decent this year. Its just in that 4th quarter them niggas go to hell. Straight to hell. I blame some of that on lack of pass rush but some of it on them niggas. Simply just playing stupid. Secondary is a work in progress. I'm not opposed to bringing Elam back. He's been decent. But I think its time to look past just decent. We need to spend a early pick on any part of the secondary. I don't care what position. Safety or corner. We need a nigga to revamp that secondary. I'm glad we didn't take Prince. He's just another nigga and frankly he'd be our worst corner. Well he'd be worse than Scandrick, Newman and Jenkins.
