I liked it, a lot of other people liked it, and it made his money back plus some. They call it a flop, but the critics have been split on it. Some liked it some hated it but it wasn't an overwhelming majority either way

Based on the DC comicbook, the story centers on the team of supervillains who are given a chance at redemption by the government. The catch: Their mission will probably kill them all.
The actors names had long been rumored for the high-profile movie, which opens Aug. 5, 2016, but their deals and characters hadn’t been finalized.
Here’s the official cast/character list:

Will Smith is a smart man for taking this role. Every actor in Hollywood would jump at the chance to be in any Marvel and now possibly maybe DC superhero film. They are tentpoles with huge budgets that spawn sequels and make a ton of money especially on the merchandising side. You'd be an ass or have to be a "true thespian" to pass up these shots when they come.
Plus, look at Will's latest films – After Earth (2013) and Men in Black 3 (2012). Two of the worst movies in the last 5 years. He did some flick called Winter's Tale that I doubt anyone has ever heard of, much less saw. Dude needs a hit. Who knows how Focus will be received.

I have no idea what you're complaining about. Superstar actors/actresses usually aren't always paired with other superstars all the time. This is a Marvel movie, most actors capable of doing action flicks like this will do it simply since it's Marvel and will get serious bank just off the brand itself.
