Drumpf mocked that disabled reporter, not one republican said a damn thing and Drumpf never apologized....... and Abbot and his fucked up policies and regulations are why the TX grid stays fucked up also he helped Desatan commit Human Trafficking by busing migrants from TX to NYC.......

It’s not about Abbott or Trump.

It’s wrong for anyone claiming to be a leader to make fun of handicapped people, period. And an attack on one is an attack on all.

If someone is nice to you but you hear them get mad at someone and call them a ******, regardless of what the other person did, that attack reveals who they really are. Same thing with any group. If you start talking about intrinsic traits when you don’t like an individual, it’s no longer just about that individual.

I’m not claiming this is the biggest outrage or comparable to anything Trump has done. I’m just saying that wrong is wrong and it doesn’t become okay because the other side is deplorable. I’m disappointed in her for being stupid and giving them this story because it was obviously a dumb statement.

Look, the way I took it wasn't somebody looking down at someone for their impediment but as a an extension of who they are. No different from saying the orangeman in charge. Would you feel the same way if I saw a person with thick eyelenses Mr. Magoo? They have a disability too.

Anyway I see him as a person who happens to move differently than the majority.

It makes me sad how Trump won and so everyone thinks they have to play by his rules now.

Her side lost in 2016 but Michelle Obama was right. It's not a 100% of the time rule but "when they go low we go high" is the smarter approach long-term. There's another saying that applies: “Never wrestle with a pig in the mud because you'll both get dirty and the pig likes it.” A pig got elected president and now everyone thinks mud wrestling is the only way. But it isn't.

Democrats have had subpar candidates since Barack Obama. Obama wouldn't have to make fun of disabled Republicans to compete today. The answer is not to be like Trump, it is to be better! People forget because of Trump but you really can be a good person and stand for what's right and still win.

Those days are gone and Trump is not the only one loosening the filter. Obama got less votes than Trump and less-filtered Biden.

It's not a straight up comparison because of population increases. Especially 2020 with vote-by-mail-- it's apples and oranges. Trump and Biden got more votes than anybody because there were more voters and it was easier to vote than ever. Can't compare those totals to Obama, Clinton, Lincoln, etc.

You're right that Trump is not the only clown out there. But he beat a woman who Republicans had been attacking for 30 years and had made the most unpopular Democratic nominee ever and another woman who was terrible at interviews and only had 100 days to campaign because the senile president stayed in the race too long and put the party in a bad position. A decent Democratic candidate could and should have won those elections.
 
She shouldn't have went there but it is what it is...if people really offended by that kind of shit, we wouldn't have the president we have now

Crockett should keep doing her thing just avoid going that far with it in the future
