Prince and Micheal did have a lil rivalry. I shall not call it beef, but it wasn't all good between them.
Mannnnnn I dunno about that.

There is a story where Michael purposely embarrassed Prince at some awards show.

James Brown was on stage performing, he had Mike come up to sing and dance with him. Mike then motioned, pressured, and waived Prince on stage. When Prince got up there they handed him a guitar that wasn't his, wasn't tuned, nothing and was like "do something cool."

On national TV at an awards show with peers, fans and industry exces watching, Prince BOMBED (by his standards and what we were used to).

Apparently this was the funniest thing in the world to Michael and he laughingly told this story OFTEN

Kanye

Meek Mill - What's Free feat. Rick Ross & Jay Z

Ok, I just pressed play on this bitch.

Did we have to rehash a Big song? And Ross the C.O. taking swipes at Tekashi for snitching is a bit too much to take.

Ummmm....to clarify things, because it seems to have been misinterpreted what he said

He went from talking about alluding to Kanye to talking abut Trump

When he mentions I'm not one of those house n's you bought...because earlier he had mentioned red hat. It was a Trump and coon/house nuh's diss. He was actually giving an olive branch to Kanye and was saying even though we're different, that's my brotha, and the media is making it out more than it is. As in while I'm talking about Trump and maga, let me mention Kanye. You can still interpret it as Kanye being one for he house nuhs, the way he crafted it. But the house and wife shit wasn't aimed at Kanye.

Read it again

That's why he clarified things, because people are stupid.

Rory said on Joe Budden's podcast that Jay's an underrated lyricist, and I was thinking he was full of shit at first and it was a dumb statement. Then I thought about it, and went back to the discussion of this song and realized, yep. Because a lot of people don't even understand the entendres and metaphors.

The Prince(didn't give a fuck and wanted to own his own shit) and Michael(changed his features trying to be white and was dancing for coins until he couldn't anymore) could also have another meaning, but I digress....

That's why he released that tweet
