The nfl is not the enemy. It is actually a very valuable asset. Sure there are problems and the players agreed to yet another fucked up collective bargaining agreement but that doesn't make them the enemy. Most of the shit that is fucked up is between them: the players and owners. This is supposed to be about police brutality and the killing of innocent black men and women, but the discussion is never about any of the real issues that got us here. First it gets switched to disrespect for the military somehow and then to players right to protest during the anthem. I think it is intentional. We have to stay focused. Black people seem to have forgotten about the fucked up situation we face because the nfl owners said stand for that stupid ass song. Both the players and teams do a lot of positive things for our communities. What have they done wrong to the black community? Not to the players, to the community?

Colin Kaepernick should have never kneeled for the flag during a football game. He could have made his stance away from the game. He was selfish for trying to put all the attention on himself while his brothers on the football field were focused on trying to win games. His focus was not on the football field so the owners decided that he didn't need to be on anyone's team.
