I honestly thought this was all theatre but seeing this actually made me sad. Cause you see Mal and Joe were really brothers at one time.

I'm confused you gotta break that down for me.
They were brothers and Rory was the outsider. So he figured Mal Is cool would have his back instead of siding with the outsider. They talk that friends shit but they only knew each other for few years and with Rory and Mal even shorter. So Joe wasnt sweating Mal cause he thought they were bros for real.
