the key difference is Mandy never acknowledged that both shows were Joe's IP
she was either ignorant to the facts or was being deceptive
where as Complex played him on his ownership and credit - therefore Joe took his ball and went home
Joe learned from that - so at Revolt his ownership and credit were locked in
in TV when the studio or network and the executive producer / show owner can't agree on terms to renew the license / or renew an order for x number of new episodes
-the production gets shutdown
