Jonah Hill’s Shockingly Small 'Wolf of Wall Street' Payday

smart move by Jonah. He will always have comedies to fall back on but this is his second "Supporting" actor nomination in a semi serious movie. Jonah looking for the serious leading role and this move will only help him get there.

Just listened to the Howard Stern interview, and he said he would have sold his house to pay Scorsese to be in this film... That's love right there. Dude just truly wanted to be in a Scorsese flick because it was a dream of his..

And to top it off, that $60k was before taxes, commissions, SAG dues, etc.. So he basically did this shit for FREE..

The scale changes based on the budget of a film.

What I posted is the feature film minimum wage. Low budget can be as low as $268 a day.

Either way, there's been several actors lately who've worked scale for various reasons. Mostly to build up their name in a different genre than they are known for.

Smart move you got to think the movies he's done since moneyball esp. his own vehicles I.e. The Sitter were flops. Is this the end was an ensemble cast, so in reality this was a good move to put him back in the a list.
