I actually watch Mehdi more now than I did when he was on MSNBC. I had forgot about Tiffany Cross. If BET was a real channel, I would say lets really get to work on building up the news over there.

BET is owned by Paramount Global 's CBS Entertainment Group. That company only interest is keeping the darkies entertained so they'll keep watching.

I guess you bitch-niggas are waiting for Nasheed to tell you how to react to Lester Holt resigning.

I never thought of Lester Holt, a registered Republican, as anything of than (I guess you can call him a black man) getting a nice paycheck and saying what was expected of him by his white bosses. I recall him feeding Trump a mostly softball questions and grilling Kamala Harris unmercifully. I look at Lester as the Van Jones of news reporting.

Your recollection seems biased. Kamala was never grilled unmercifully aside from her FOX News interview. What was the toughest question he asked her?

Sure, if that's what was in the contract. Doesn't matter what you're promised on the front end. Its how they feel about you when its time to sign a new contract that counts. They didn't wake up this week and decide to get rid of her. This has been in the works for a while.
Did you read the story at all?

Rebecca Kutler, MSNBC’s newly minted president, said in a memo obtained by CNN. “In the years ahead, we must continue to show up for our audiences in this critical moment while simultaneously best positioning ourselves for the future.”

The sweeping changeup comes just three months after Comcast announced it would spin off most of its cable TV networks — including MSNBC and a half dozen others — into SpinCo, a separate, publicly traded company, a process Comcast has said will take about a year.

Amid the change, MSNBC will consolidate production operations to New York and Washington, DC. MSNBC will establish its own Washington Bureau amid SpinCo’s separation of the cable news outlet and NBC News. Per Kutler, the network will announce updates about the Washington bureau in the coming months.

Noggaz don't want niggaz to ever win. Self hating ass negroes celebrating a sister losing her spot.
Don’t know if she was ever one of us though. She called us russian bots and shit for questioning Democrats. I think she shitted on KS at some point but I have no proof. I wish her the best on her future endevors, but she obviously needs that platform more than it needs her. She might start a struggle chanel on youtube, but it ain’t looking good unless she gets picked up by another major plat, but no.

Color of Change:

We demand that MSNBC put Joy Reid and The ReidOut back on the air because Black voices are not disposable, and Black journalists are needed now more than ever.

When you click the MAKE THE CALL button, the system will call your phone and patch you through. PLEASE HAVE YOUR PHONE READY.

In a bid to curry favor with the current administration, MSNBC is once again silencing Black women who speak truth to power. From Melissa Harris-Perryrefusing to be tokenized to Tiffany Cross speaking up for Black communities, we’ve seen this playbook before—and now, they’re coming for Joy Reid.

This is a betrayal—not just of Black journalists and Black audiences, but of the truth itself. When other outlets turned a blind eye to the moment, we were able to count on Joy Reid to use her platform on The ReidOut to highlight issues important to our communities, just as she had on AM Joy for years prior. Color Of Change thanks Joy for the critical role that she has played platforming racial justice causes and advocates. We stand firmly with Joy Reid because Black voices are not disposable, and Black journalists are needed now more than ever.

At a time when neo-segregationist attacks are accelerating and enemies of truth are attempting to erase Black stories, MSNBC’s decision is not just shameful—it’s dangerous. Silencing truth-tellers doesn’t make the truth disappear. It only reveals who is complicit in suppressing it.

Did he resign or was he fired..im curious about that one.

Still going to be doing Dateline

He was doing straight news and not opinion, so his might be an age thing

If I was making a good salary, I wouldn't want to work myself to death in my 60's

I'm sorry.

But I can't feel sorry for Reid. Her constant shilling for The Democrats without challenging them on ANYTHING!, along with her Misandrist attacks on Black Men who "dared" to question that Party, lost Me ages ago. Just like Tiffany Cross, who I also was initially a "fan" of. But suffered the same fate. As has Uncle RoRo Martin. These folks constantly SHAMED the Black Voter base into voting for a Party who treats US like an Albatross around its neck. And now they've paid a price for kissing Donkey ASS!

If this doesn't serve as a Wake-Up Call for Black Media Pundits, then they are all pretty much LOST!

Bump.
