But she's married to a white man.

So has Sarah Palin. Whats your point?

My point is what the fuck does who she marries have anything to do with it. There's some context there, but way more in how she grew up.

Dudes threw up pics of her husband as if that was something to explain why she feels the way she does about her identity...same shit.

There's tons of examples of Black people marrying outside their race, but they still identify themselves as being black. The kids on the other hand are different because they have two "so-called races" that they have to find peace in identifying with.

Joy IS mixed. Some identify with being black and some not. Some, as sad as people might think it to be, identify with being white. She chose the most logical choice.

I happen to know her. She's cool peoples. I think identifying as being black depends more on your upbringing and community.

Marriage can absolutely play a part in how one self identifies... And certainly can be an indicator of it as well. And when combined with her commentary on these matters, and what we know of her background and what she chooses to speak up on and against... Its safe to come to the conclusions of suspicion that some are here.

Further, you cant argue that marriage does not play part in these matters and then use something as stupid as who one fucks as a counter argument.

That being said, fuck this bitch and her overrated cac friendly brother.

Who am I to tell mixed peeps what rules to live by?

Beyond social rules that dont necessarily resonate with everybody, there is the basic, simple reality of her being mixed.

mixed is a term invented to obfuscate reality.
she's in good ol' America; where you say the N word you will get beat up, get arrested or get a dap from your boyz depending on the circumstance.
the old rule, made by those who made the rules, say 1 drop or they utilize the paper bag test.
"If you got Black in you, you're Black!" is the rule they made.
as she continues to lean white (in her mind's eye), she'll start the CAC face age cracking and regret making that choice.

Just like the nfl...the last thing any slave owner would want, would be a known unruly slave to rile up the other niggas on the plantation..no matter how useful or talented.
Didn't need Kaepernick to let me know how completely fucked and racist they are...

Shes black? And that's Jason Taylors sister? Had no fucking idea....I thought she Latina or some shit.

Didn't know until she was out for the hall of fame ceremony

Ain't that crazy? Or maybe we just in the minority but I've never heard anyone bring up that Jason Taylor was her brother.

Something tells me it's more acceptable for her husband to bring her home and out, because her race is pretty much indistinguishable and she obviously doesn't identify with her black side

She is mixed until the police pull her over or some white man say's something to her, then she will be asking for the black community's help.

Naw, she doesn't "look" black. It looks like she could be latina or italian or something. That's how she can get away with that mixed shit. I'm sure she uses that for convenience for certain conversations and not because she actually identifies and relates to black people.

You who?

Don't reply with bullshit just to try to have an argument.
You're denying what I wrote as truth in America?
Maybe you're not from around here.

What I find hilarious is that she was more concern about the Cuban community than her own, but quiet ass a fucking mouse when Shannon talked about folks telling black people to get over it.
she started fumbling like she was trying to catch a football. then she went with the " my brothers are black, i'm mixed "ish. i was thinking what the fuck is that. did your brother's have straight black parents or something and you use that as a crutch. if paris jackson can g check cacs for using the word ****** around because she says she black, then idk what the fuck you are joy. them latinos got a whole lot of black blood flowing through them.

then gave skip that look like here he go again

Yea her bedwench ass probably one of those stop complaining types.

Plus she always rollin her eyes at Shannon and lookin at him like she could kill him anywayz.

I heard her fumble through that segment of the show. Somebody cares more about their home gurls than her people.

Discussed it with my daughter as soon as I got home.

Jason Taylor is Black but she is mixed.

How her brothers black and she not?

Yea that was some head scratching shit, dumbass.

Since when did it matter if "social rules" resonated with a person?

Im trying to make you understand that people dont HAVE TO FOLLOW rules made by 'them'.

Its that simple.

Im not mixed, I dont speak for them, I dont know how they see things, but if they wanna identify as 'mixed' thats up to them.

Her husband's a CAC..............I know, shocking!

CY8BEm6W8AEALeS.jpg

pops did not represent the way he was supposed to. That is why she fumbled those words, caught up in her emotions.

If she cared about Black people, the POINT the two Black people were trying to make is that they respect Cubans, but guess what Cubans should RESPECT the complexity of our stories also

That shirt...okay was Castro wrong when he sent troops to Angola? Guess Cuban exiles think so, Was Malcolm X wrong for attacking white supremacy and standing up for global muslims--I fucking guess Cuban exiles think so tooo.

See how easy that shit it. I am all for Cuban history, but fuck your story if you gloss over mine, and also don't speak truth to how they (white cubans) treating the AFRICANS in cuba and once they got their asylum pass...said FUCK YOU to the Haitians who needed it asylum in the US more than them. If we are supposed to honor your downtrodden history, motherfuckers better fight for right on ALL FRONTS, ie HAITI

That reporter who scolded Kaep, won the fight, because he was prepared and controlled the mic and the pen. Kaep should have focused on Malcolm X and said let me get back to you on Castro, or listened to the his info and said I will consider it. Simple as that. He got emotional and looked bad. BUT Kaep is an athlete focusing on Black murder, he is GROWING into all this shit, can a motherfucker take some time, to learn.

but fuck ANY Cuban that dares to try to step to me, talking shit about Malcolm and the support Castro gave him, and the improvement of the lives of African people worldwide, that Castro helped with. PERIOD.
