the slips (evasive technique) of the hand strikes was definitely Jeet Kune Do and kung-fu based.

I concur, in Jujitsu there are no such "traditional" fist strikes in that angled manner, we have "shock" "strikes' to give us the split second to apply grab, hold for Ukemi and other throws, I done forgot my shit, technical terms.

Also it's not an intiate type of fighting style, you wait for opponent, not try to force them to respond to your strikes, feints.
