He handled it well in that first vid. Dropped the ball w/ how he responded in video #2.

Need to know more about their policy before weighing in. This is going to get airtime though...especially on the heels of the Terrell Davis situation.

I don't really blame him though, it's frustrating as shit dealing with these flight attendants on planes moving a person when they paid for their seat.

Nah he didn't handle it well. If they had no reason, they would have needed more than some employee to tell me that I had to go to coach. I'm not voluntarily leaving the plane. No sir.

So you're cool w/ being arrested? He did the right thing and can fight it in the proper forum. And that wasn't just some employee - you're not winning an argument w/ the pilot.

I mean, why stay on the plane after they made you move for no reason especially when you paid for first class seats. Them flight attendants & pilots be racist when comes to black folks getting on them planes.

Nobody was getting arrested. The most they could do is escort me off. I'm not leaving volunteering. Not happening.

If he really had tickets for those seats he had every right to refuse to move. However I would want the police to get involved cause I want someone separate from the airlines to get the story from the flight attendant why I need to move from the seats I bought.

It’s mostly about logistics. For example, Delta doesn't offer direct flights from Miami to the Dominican Republic, so you'd have to make a stop in either Atlanta or New York. On the other hand, American Airlines flies directly from Miami to three different cities in the Dominican Republic.
Ok, but why can't their driver take them to the airport, I don't see nothing wrong with that instead of dealing with a plane that has shitty service being racist..

It's called being "downgraded"
They have the right to move a passenger if they oversold first class
I would assume that the passenger getting the seat was probably was an AAdvantage Executive Platinum tier or just a cac :rolleyes2:
They refund you but it sucks
Yep... 100% correct which is BS! I really like some of the policies Pete Buttigieg is trying to implement in the airline industry.

Here’s what to do if you’re involuntarily downgraded
