I was having this conversation this morning as I was driving through a Brooklyn neighborhood of the “Chosen People”. There was a synagogue with its members, and the only people of color were the nannies. And this was for blocks.

As I arrived at 7th and Nostrand Ave., I couldn’t help but feel odd.

There a lot of of us that come to this country to take the scraps and think we are better than the black folks who were here for quite some time. What’s funny is our children end up suffering from the defeat. It’s why I try to send my kids around the world as frequently as possible.

There are two types of non goon Chicago South siders.

Exhibit A: Common even though he is corporate now was the cool type of South Side black that you can kick it with, drink, smoke, and holla at and chase hoes with. West Siders got along with this type of brother. He was welcomed on the West Side with open arms.

Exhibit B: Kanye was the type of South Sider that we brothers out on the West Side did not fuck with(and this goes way back to the 80s). Us West Siders always wanted to smack them up, take their bitches while they were around, and in some cases strong arm rob them.

I knew once Kanye type of South side kniggas got a platform and world stage this type of fuckery was to ensue. This is why I was never in the Kanye hype back then because I knew he was one of the Pill Hill, Beverly ass siddity fuck boy type of kniggas.

It's for sure the "chosen peoples" world as they run everything. Taking it back and restructuring this status quo requires that quiet and violent revolution that Kanye's dumbass isn't capable of immobilizing or contemplating.

This tippy toe "outta the box" thinking (which it's not by any stretch) is weak af.

To your point, the access and opourtnity his lifestyle affords him, should open his eyes to what's going on in the world, but this niggas selfish and only looking out for himself.

Anyone who travels knows what the world is, and could be the moment you get back to these shores.
