He winning in life and just made a legendary interview that would be remembered for many years to come. So, there's nothing for him to stress over but I'm sure others are stressing after getting exposed since people are now digging up their shit.

How was it brilliantly promoted?

People heard that Katt was talking shit and it spread on social media like wildfire.

I didn't see it as a comedy special, because I really don't remember laughing much. It was him airing people out again that did him and others wrong.

And yes Kevin could do this for 90 minutes, and it's probably be more explosive due to his dealings worth more people in Hollywood.

I doubt Steve or Cedric could because it wouldn't be that entertaining. But they're comedians and I could be wrong.

Katt definitely shined and the interview will be remembered, but Kev already set Katt straight and it took him 6 years to recover and come up with a response. :roflmao:

Best response..nothing else needs to be said

Nah, he stole that. You can't borrow a joke. How you gonna give it back?
I feel that and I understand. I just thought they all do certain copy things, maybe not as exact though. But let’s say he stole, ok now what. Does it make it less funny? Does it make Ced less of a comedian? I’m mean I don’t know I’m just asking

I mean then you gotta rank them accordingly because they weren't who we thought they were.

I get that and respect where you were coming from with that statement. I just feel that industry is trying to get any black man for these gay roles that a lot of straight men wouldn't do but some would do it because they're desperate for money or have to feed their family including some of these dudes on BGOL who don't mind wearing a dress in a movie or TV show when they never had any history wearing a dress in their life. So, I wouldn't give nobody a pass wearing a dress regardless of their history doing it or not. I also respect people who turned down roles that would require a black man to wear a dress. Also, you noticed some black actors regret that shit while others made peace with the fact they were able to feed their families making huge money, to each their own. So, all I'm saying is that I want to see more black actors getting more opportunities for roles that don't have to be no gay shit to pay the bills.

People need to take accountability for deciding to put on a dress or playing a gay role and stop usingit as an excuse for failure. Usually when I hear people mention this it's a way to belittle their more successful counterparts, they feel off likely due to work ethic, drug habits or limited roles for Black people in general.

I can't speak to higher up executives at a network and what was/is likely to be greenlit, but off the top of my head a few of the black stars who put on a dress were in black shows or movies with Black leadership of some sort. Martin Lawrence, Tyler Perry, Jamie Fox the Wayne's Brothers, Eddie Murphy, Chris Roc etc.... the reality is there was a time when this was accepted and people thought it was funny. When Dave Chappelle and Wesley Snipes did it, they were amongst white men who also wore a dress.

I'd take it more seriously except the only counter argument to white men have done the same is I don't care about white people. One of Robin Williams biggest films was Mrs.Doubtfire. on the same show as a predominantly Black cast, Jim Carrey dressed as a woman on In Living Color.

I'm not saying it's cool for men to put on dresses. I just believe the thought of it being a conspiracy is nonsense. Putting drugs in the neighborhoods ok. Removing trades from schools ok. Not allowing men in homes with women on social programs ok. Building projects and allowing them to fall apart ok. Building projects near or in middle class or lower middle class neighborhoods ok. I get the theory, but compared to other methods of hurting Black people. I'm not seeing the same level of impact from Black men wearing dresses.

Rankings are subjective regardless and one joke stole isn’t gonna change how I feel about a comedian. I mean it would be different if his whole career was based on stolen material. I think Dave C is the goat right now. Ive heard some say he ain’t funny. I think Kevin isn’t funny like he was and or definitively fell off. But some thinks he’s still funny as hell…

Well we know steve isn't the king of comedy because he stole too many jokes from other comedians, fazion love, aries spears, tiffany haddish can be added to the bottom of that list as well. But, yeah, maybe one joke is cool but when a person steals more than one joke from mutiple comedians then they shouldn't even be in any goat discussions. yeah, dave is at the top right now while the rest is behind him.

Good questions. I don't care about who steals from who, as long as i laugh. Just my opinion. I don't care that Katt stole either. But he can't make a fuss about others doing it, if he did it himself. You hear about stealing all the time. Michael Colyer (sp?) just spoke about how he accidently stole a joke from Keenan Ivory, and Keenan threated to fuck him up.

There's nothing shocking about this because we know they had to either do some gay shit behind the scenes or women had to fuck for those top roles. But nobody wants to come out and admit what went down behind the scenes for them to get the fame they got being in those bigger roles on tv shows and movies.

Glad you posted that vid. So katt went on a rant about Tiffany and then when they ran into each other, he started backtracking. So was he telling the truth about her or not? That's why i can't take anything serious that he said in this video, because when he runs into someone, he's probably gonna do the same thing.
