Here is the difference.
Comedians have said the the same but it was isolated. They always got cool after some time. For example mike epps went at Kevin for the same shit. And then got cool again. But it was always one at the time.
Mo never peace it up. So now that katt basically came out validating here it became the bomb it is. No one ever at least that I can remember named the heavy hitters like Steve. Shitt even monique didnt. That came after Steve tried to preach that slave shit
Katt spoke about Kevin Hart etc in 2018 and Mo'Nique spoke about the heavy hitters in 2019. They both got millions of views and were the talk of the internet back then.
I can't remember Katt talking about Steve but I definitely remember Mark Curry speaking about Steve. Many have also probably heard Katt talk about Cedric stealing his joke before being that situation is over 20 years old.
Katt on Shannon's show was just the perfect storm.

Thats my point. The whole presentation was made so Katt looked like he was defending himself. Instead of looking like a hater. Also Shannon's platform. He gained a lot of followers but his platform was big already.
Also comedians been talking about each other. Its just that usually they go at the top comedians at that moment. Hell people were talking about Dave Chapelle crazy and even Carmichael and Jordan peele.
But those never went super viral. And a lot of them were on big platforms.
