He didnt need Joe Lacobs blood money. KD has plenty ventures outside of basketball and will gain plenty more playing in NYC. He wants his own legacy and identity, tired of being Steph and Drays bitch. The Nets will be HIS team.

Yes for the first 4 years agreed that's nothing to him; unless he struggles to come back from his injury. But im talking that 5 and final year. Hes not making that money up at age 35. No one could have gave him that but GS. But regardless of the money, why does he wanna play with kyrie

Man. The Salary cap will be in higher then. He's going to get the money, again. And he'll probably make more from local endorsements too. The local NYC endorsement market is $$$.

Dude would have been in the L for what, 15-16 years at that point? Salary, endorsement money; ain’t like he came in at 22, 4 years of college and was drafted outside the lottery; he’s been making top NBA paper for a long time; I’ll guess he ain’t too worried about what he’ll make at 35; dude has been wealthy since age 19.
