I have to go back and listen to To Pimp a Butterfly. I was listening to DAMN earlier.

With Mr. Morale, that's an album that I listen to in its entirety. It's not really a song of singles, it's an entire body of work that's beat to be listened to all at once.

DAMN is too though.

Listened to the song a few more times, and I fuck with it. It's a solid diss. But it is weird that he came at Kendrick for a fucked up contract when Baby, Slim, Wayne, and J Prince were in his pockets up until recently. It's also weird for him to insinuate Top was trying to end the beef when J Prince ended his last beef.

I started listening SOLELY because of the Hova co sign

and then he had that feature on a Star is Born

so I got the mixtapes

And EVERYONE kept TELLING me he was good

And I found him... regular

But he had these FLASHES of great that kept me listening

but I didn't like his beats and he was kinda boring

but THEN I realized he was NOT talking to ME

I wasn't THAT age anymore...

HE was kicking Hillman raps HBCU bars bursar registrar lines and THEN I got it

Then went in the lab and dropped I cant get enough and that Miguel track?

And BOOM I was actually PROUD because it was relatively organic

and then the last 3 years he just became an assaisn.

SO I was FINE with him dropping out of this mess.

I hate to say it but *he kinda seemed above it all*

As long as him and his fans happy? I'm good
