Killer Mike on the Breakfast Club...great discussion!

He was given his patch personally from "Mom" Boucher, idk how he got in Mom's favor like that tho

Funny, I don't remember him patched as Hells Angels, I thought it was some other biker gang. None the less, still interesting though. The killer mike interview was a good one. Envy better thank Dame Dash for all this entrepreneur talk and action he's been doing as of late cause he wasn't doing any of that until Dame stop thru the building.

The way Dame sonned him was epic

LMAO I caught that to.

Mike.had to reassure him like "man, I'm a rapper. Nothing wrong with it but we make our money singing and.dancing"

The overarching discussion THAT PART touches on is how much Black people are involved in these professions, how eeting they are, and how much the general Black population seems to DEPEND on entertainers and athletes to do something. It's one of those professions we've dominated , and can possibly make great money in, but it's so fleeting. End of the day , neither one of them would be able to do the real estate they do without entertainment money, but entertainment money comes with so many caveats.

Entertainment money is only fleeting if your sole focus is stardom.

Instead, I tell would be artists to focus on making $50/week from their music. That could come from selling beats, features, shows at a local bar, ghost writing, even sweeping the floor at an entertainment venue on weekends if that's what it takes.

Once you get a couple hundred stacked call in sick to your job for a day or two. Use that time to hustle and turn your $50/week into $100 or what you can grow.

Eventually you get to a point where your entertainment money outweighs the straight job money. Now you can go part time or quit entirely. This is the real definition of music industry success.

A lot of so-called failed rappers or one hit wonders went on the great success in the business. Think of people like Jarobi from tribe called quest. MC Serch from third bass. Def Jef ended up becoming the music supervisor for several Disney shows including That's So Raven. Sir Mix-A-Lot runs a boutique recording studio in Seattle. they use their success as recording artist to break into other aspects of the industry and will have solid careers that last their entire lifetime.

Co fucking sign.

You set the tone
Even in a crappy district you can get your kid a good education

Yea I’d never pick a certain school system although I’ve seen brilliant people come from both. If you meant to be a dumbass then you will be. Period. Some people I know who came from the ghetto are doctors and true scholars. Some who came from private schools are real dumbasses

But that's public school too. Imagine sending your kids to public schools like that where some bad ass kids who don't even have parents to listen to go

the difference is that nobody is paying $21,000 a year out of pocket to go to a public school.
